This business takes advantage of their tenants, by taking their money every month for rent and allowing the homes to fall apart and rot away. A most recent visit to one of their properties showed that the building had holes in the side of it. Cold outside air was getting into the property, making the inside of the property cold, that it could not hold steadily sustain 68 degrees during the winter season. There was found to be a total of a couple of smoke detectors, which some were not working and one smoke detector/carbon monoxide detector that was placed on a wall, by an inspector. MN codes require all smoke detectors to be on ceilings, not on a wall low to the floor. The property did not meet Federal codes for carbon monoxide detectors or smoke detectors. The property had leaks from many different places to the point that there's mold inside this property, that is visible. This is just the beginning of the problems with this property. The owners have been contacted on numerous occasions to fix these issues. They've been contacted by the county and including inspectors who have told them they are in violation of not keeping up to codes with their property. They have until April 5th, 2024, to fix these violations, today is March 28th, 2024. Nothing has been done to fix these things that are wrong with this property. These owners allow families to live in this property and collect rent from them, and they fix nothing. They do not care about their tenants or the shape of the property, they only care about putting money into their pockets. These are slum lords, not landlords, not property owners or business owners.
