    I hired this company to remove weed trees and brush from my yard. At the initial consultation, Eve recommended the following scope of work: a crew of three people for three hours. I stated that I would prefer to start with a crew of three for two hours and then evaluate how to proceed. The work was completed and I could tell they worked hard. However, the bill I received was for the scope of work Eve had originally proposed, not for what I said I wanted, and it was almost 50% more than I expected to pay. When I questioned Eve, she stated that she had forgotten to inform me about a city fee and that the crew worked for close to three hours. I agreed to pay the city fee but refused to pay for extra work that I didn't authorize, since I had explicitly declined it up front. We went back and forth via text and email for weeks, with Eve insisting that I pay her the full amount. She also implied somewhat late in the dispute that I owed her for the initial consultation, although she had never mentioned it prior to this. The whole process was very stressful and although I felt the company did good work in my yard, I would not hire them again due to the challenging customer relations. I recommend that anyone using this company get a quote in writing and assume that if difficulties arise, they may not be easy to resolve with this business owner.
