    Had carpet installed, very happy with the quality of the carpet, but they wouldn't install a transition between the laminate floor and the carpet. They told me it was for the company that installed the laminate floor to fix the problem, since empire flooring glued the transition to the old carpet, they won't install a new transition. They said they would install one for extra cost, and empire won't fix the problem, so I told them to go ahead and install it. It's been a few months now and the carpet is still just lying on the laminate floor. I consider this a job unfinished, since they already got paid I'm not a priority.
