    IDC automatic installed 3 garage doors in my new home roughly seven years ago. The problem I am having is with the garage door cables. There has been at least 4 sets of cable installed on the doors.IDC techs could not figure out the problem. When the last set of cable was installed I noticed they rub on the side of the garage door, in the precise spot the cables have been fraying. When I pointed this out to the technician I asked if he would move the cable pulleys over to fix the problem. He refused and left. After several phone calls to IDC . IDC told that repair would cost me another service call. I explained that they installed the doors incorrectly and should remedy the problem/ IDC has been the only company to work on those doors including installation. It seems the problem is deliberate to create additional service calls at my expense. I have called several times to address the problem to no satisfaction.

    We sincerely apologize for the challenge in getting these door working with the life cycle you would expect from the cables. The constraints to the door opening do make this a challenging situation. We have since this last conversation been back on out ***** to fine tune these doors at no charge.
