    On Feb 1st 2018 I purchased $700 worth of Qolsys alarm equipment through Alarm systems plus for my home. I contacted ***** **** (The owner) this past week to inform her that I intend to cancel my monitoring service through them. She informed me that I will have to purchase all new equipment if I want to go with another company. Today on August 13th I contacted Alarm systems plus (****) and he told me I can take the panel off the wall and throw it away. I said no I want to reuse it and he said no. I then looked at my security panel to see that Alarm systems plus had completely locked me out of my own equipment, changed all access codes, and deleted all my security sensors in my house from the panel.

    ***** ***** has been a customer since 2018. He has also referred his sister ****** *******, who became a loyal customer in 2021. And his father *** ***** in 2022. When ******* quarterly monitoring automatic credit card payment ($120) was due to pay out on August 1st, 2025, ***** had cancelled the auto payment. To which within that week he had reached out to my personal cell phone (see Screenshot_20250813_183129) and confronted me about a PRICE REDUCTION. If you refer to that screenshot I responded no, you are already at a low rate. But I WILL mark you down for a no rate-increase next year. He said cancel my service. He then reached back out for a private, confidential code for our customer base. I told him via that text that we cannot release that information, it's private. and then yes, I explained that every single alarm company has a Dealer Code that is not to ever be known by the customers. He was not happy that he couldn't "go the cheap route" and just use another monitoring company at a lower rate with our company's equipment he purchased from us along with monitoring, back in 2018. That's just not how it works in this industry. That's like cancelling with ******* and then using their router and other ******* equipment to go with AT&T. It just doesn happen that way, and I explained this to Mr. *****. Therefore, revengefully and spitefully came here to the BBB to complain about this. And lastly, there is no way he is receiving money back. Not for used equipment purchased by him 7 years ago. And definitely not $700. It's not even within a "year" or for a VALID reason other than because he's angry.
