      Longtime Customer, First-Time Reviewer Sadly Disappointed After years of doing business with Mickey Shorrs, I never thought Id be writing a review like thisbut here we ****** June 2024, I had a Rockford Fosgate amp installed on my 2017 Street Glide at the ********* location. All seemed fineuntil I got caught in a typical Michigan downpour. Given that my bike and audio system are marine-grade, I wasnt worrieduntil every speaker cut out after 10 minutes in the rain.I called Mickey Shorrs and was told the bike guy was on vacation but to bring it in Monday. I showed up 10 minutes before opening, only to be greeted by one of the most dismissive ***s *** ever dealt with.Despite being a ***eat customer whos spent over $3,000 on this system (with only Mickey Shorrs touching it), I was told Id have to pay $130 just for them to look at it. No diagnostic, no troubleshootingjust look. When I asked what that covered, I got a smug just to look and a shrug.I left and went to Soundwaves in ****************, where I was met with professionalism and actual interest in helping. Within minutes, they diagnosed the issue: a missing amp plate (likely never installed, based on rusted s**** holes) and bare wires tucked behind the unit. They even fixed the exposed wiring on the spot because, in their words, I cant let you ride out of here like that.I returned to Mickey Shorrs with the invoice and findings. The *** claimed your shop never removes that platethen bizarrely suggested maybe someone removed my fairing and amp plate overnight and put it back together flawlessly. Seriously?This wasnt just a failed installit was a failure to take responsibility. You lost a loyal customer not because something went wrong, but because you refused to make it right.

      At Mickey Shorr, we were sorry to hear of this customer’s issue. Mickey Shorr takes customer service and satisfaction very seriously and strives to exceed both.
      On Monday morning – July 14/2025 - the customer visited our store and explained that last week he was traveling back to Michigan from Ohio in rainy conditions, and the audio system on his motorcycle stopped working. We informed him that we could inspect the issue, and advised him that our standard diagnostic fee for audio-related issues on motorcycles is $100.
      At that point, the customer became visibly upset and began using inappropriate language. He insisted that because he had purchased the equipment from our store, we should inspect it at no charge. We reviewed his purchase history and confirmed that while the equipment is covered under a 90-day warranty, his purchase was made over a year ago (June 2024) and an extended warranty was declined. We explained that the diagnostic fee would still apply, but that if the issue was found to be related to a product defect, we would take the appropriate steps to resolve it.
      We at Mickey Shorr take pride in providing professional service and stand by our policies, which are clearly communicated to customers. We remain committed to resolving legitimate concerns in a respectful and constructive manner
