I paid for the $30 order with a **** credit card. I requested a receipt for the purchase but was denied. The counter clerk walked away and ignored me, but when I asked a second ****** she informed me that they don't print receipts after purchase. They only provide customers with a pre-purchase receipt showing the items ordered, but since payment has not occurred, there is no payment listed. Businesses should provide customers with a receipt if requested, especially for credit card purchases where tips or fees could be added without the knowledge or consent of the cardholder. Customers should be entitled to proof of payment and a way to verify the actual purchase amount charged to the card at the time of purchase. It is much harder to dispute incorrect or erroneous charges after the fact without a receipt. It is a safeguard for both the customer and the business to keep transactions transparent.

I am very confused why someone said they couldn't reprint a receipt for the customer. Normally a customer receives a copy of the detailed billed when they are handed their order at the counter. If anyone needs a credit card copy that only takes a few seconds and we always provide the customer with that if we requested. I have reprinted copies for customers that ordered months before in the past. We still have the receipt on file and could reprint that with in seconds. The manager on duty was not notified of this situation at all. We do have numerous new employees and it could of just been a misunderstanding with them not knowing how to do it. The customer did place their order online so would of automatically received a confirmation email with their order details and the total bill. For pick up orders there isn't a option to add a tip on the receipt only on delivery orders. If the customer would like a copy we would be happy to print that out at any time for them.
