*** purchased two items from this company. The transactions were fraught with problems. I had many emails back and forth with ***** from K&S Design Elements. She was mostly timely with her responses in the beginning, but my last email was ignored. I reached back out several timesnothing. The first item purchased was a metal, sun, wall plaque, with a powder-coated finish, made for outdoor use. It was defective. Someone made an error in the cut file and a chunk was completely missing from one of the suns rays. I was sent another, but it was packaged so poorly that it bent in shipping. I was sent another, and as that one appeared to be fine, I hired someone to hang it over my garage in October. I was very excited because it looked great, and so, I decided to purchase an address plaque with the same painted finish. The first one I received (again) was bent, because of insufficient packaging. They did replace it with another and that one seemed to be fine. In May, I noticed the finish on the sun appeared to have a weird, bluish, mottled look to the finish. As I looked closer, I realized the paint was actually failing. Now I have to either take it down and discard it, leaving four holes in my siding , or hire someone to take it down, paint and reinstall, and I dont have the money to do this. I havent seen the degradation on the address placket yet, because it was just installed in June, but if they are all finished the same way, then I expect it to turn as well. Im asking for refund for both items plus shipping.* I should receive refund for installations, painting, reinstall, (x2 -no doubt, the address plaque will need same attention) time and aggravation, as this whole thing including myriad messaging back and forth, and filing claim has been exhausting. Though I know Ill have to swallow all of those expenses. This has become a costly and disappointing endeavor in adding a unique flare to my humble home. And what am I left with?
