11/20/2024- Took my 2011 Jeep Liberty to another car repair business, they informed me that the Jeep had failing head gasket and advised me to take it to the CR Motors. 12/4/2024- took the jeep to them they confirmed the problem and gave me a bid for parts and labor of $3500.00. A few days later they contacted me and informed me that both sides were bad and that it was going to be $7146.27. I okayed the work, thinking they had checked the whole motor over, after these findings. 1/16/2025- Got Jeep back and still the same, (I have videos and other pictures). I had a 2-year unlimited warranty, so I took it back. They looked it over and I got it back, still the same. 2/11/2025- Asked them to really look it over and asked if they had checked to bottom part of the motor. Upon asking them that, they went back and do just that. Informed me of this and nothing more was done. Got the Jeep back, still the same. This Jeep was taken in to see what was wrong and get it fixed so I can use it as my daily driver and to pull my small camper. Every time I got it back, and I asked if I could use it to pull. They told me "Most definitely". Which there is no way I can, without seizing up the motor. I was informed of paying for shipping of parts, that they don't have on any invoice and I never was asked if I wanted to even see the parts they replaced. I spend a lot of money for repairs, to solve the problem and I still have the problem.

When Ms. ****** brought her vehicle in to our service department she stated that she only needed to verify what the other repair facility had told her was wrong so we did not do a full inspection, we only verified whether or not the issue that the other repair facility told her was valid, and we confirmed it was. The repairs done here are unrelated to the lower end noise. We did a free compression check on the engine and results were positive within specifications. We did do a full inspection at this time, which normally costs $330.00, for free.

The 2 year limited warranty that Ms. ****** is referring to are for the parts that we installed, nothing else. We did warranty the right side cylinder head due to a faulty part.

Many times, when performing repairs on a vehicle, you fix one thing only to discover another issue. Vehicle systems are complex as well as interconnected so repairing one component can put stress on another part of the system. Replacing one part can highlight other worn out components that were previously hidden, leading to more issues.

I have attached the RO's with the issues stated. We completely understand Ms. ******'s frustration at having fixed one problem, only to encounter another, but the repairs that we performed on her vehicle have no relation to the issues she is having now.
