    They encourage people to violate FCC regulations through misleading advertisements. The also mislead by saying you can use when the grid is down talk over 1000 miles. ***** is a lie. You would have to use linked repeaters which would use "the grid". If you had ones linked in the locations you want to communicate. They say you can use it in an emergency with out a license, also a half lie. Only if immediate risk to life or property. Not a generalized emergency. Also encouraging people to break FCC rules.Encouraging people to get a amateur radio and saying you don't need a license and lieing about capabilities gives people a false sense of security. With out licensed use they will not know how to use I effectively and most importantly what its limitations are.I see by comments on thoer ******** that people think they will be able to grab this radio and call someone in another state without a licenseor infrastructure, which just is not true.Very misleading advertisements preying on people that don't understand radio.It could also lead to unlicensed users jamming frequencies during emergencies because they do not understand how radio works and what is allowed.

    I bought 2 radios with Extras after hearing about them on Fox News. $416.66 down the drain. They don't work as promised. Have called and emailed without a response. A simple refund was all I wanted.

    I was misled by their advertising on instagram. My purpose in purchasing 5 radios was to enable my family to use them in a grid down scenario. Upon further research I learned that these radios WILL NOT WORK in a grid down scenario. I only placed my order yesterday and they received my money in good faith. As I continually call their number I am unable to speak with anyone about requesting a refund. Their phone system does not work. I will definitely be reporting them to the BBB if I cant get a good faith resolution.

    I bought 4 radios with 2 PTT mics and they came working perfect out the box. Im not understanding how Im getting through with customer service and great working ********************** and a few not. I havent had no issues with this company as of yet so they get 5 stars with me. Sorry for everyone else and hope it turns around for you guys.

    This Company is telling lies about the ability of their radios. When cell service ends, then these must use the ************* option that will only be a mile or 2.www.myemergencyradio.com is new website.

    Their biggest advertising claim is no monthly fees, no contracts, etc their radios are roughly $200 a piece. I was considering purchasing 4 but in the fine print on their website, they said there is a $50/radio PER YEAR fee after the first year. I inquired about this very politely on their ******** page and they deleted my comment. I reposted the comment and then they blocked me. They are using false advertisement and using a play on words with their marketing to get you to purchase theyre expensive radios claiming no monthly fees, and the after a year, your radio wont work unless you pay their yearly fees of $50 per radio per year.

    I waited several weeks to receive my radios. Then when I received them, they would not work. I realized they were programmed for 4G. Everything in my area is 5G. I've been trying to get ahold of them by telephone and email for almost 2 weeks every once in a while. I get a vague response and when I reply to that then I hear Nothing again. As the other gentleman stated, they seem to be quality radios. I would like for them to work, but Their customer service is almost non-existent.

    Radios worked out of box but then 2nd time trying to use them it appears to have lost programming. Good luck getting them to help. Trying to contact them via phone and email. I want these radios to work because they appear to be built nice and the concept is great. I will remove this review if they get back to me in timely manner.

     got three radios from them about five weeks ago, cost me just under $700.00, they didn't work and I haven't been able to get any kind of response from them by either leaving messages to that bogus phone number or emails to their web site. I feel that I got screwed and will never be able to recoup any money. This outfit is probably ran out of China! Please people, don't fall for this like I did. Also, don't trust the phoney reviews on their Facebook pages where people ask questions or tell how great they are!
