    This is by far the best long range radio Ive ever purchased. I live in ******** and sent a radio to ******* to a friend and I was shocked and amazed of the clarity!! I was in disbelief. It sounded as good or even better than my cell phone. Ive told all of my friends and family about rapid radio. A must have when shtf, just saying. Now I will be trying their international card as I plan to go to another country to visit. Cant wait to see how that works out.

    Rapid Radios. What can I say. I have an 8 year old son in Hawaii that I need to stay in touch with. He is to young for a phone and I was stuck not being able to contact him. I suspect that it wasn't cool for dad to be calling all the time. I had been thinking about Rapid for a while now and not totally convinced that it had the reach I needed. One day I called them up and voiced my needs and concerns. I ordered the radios and now I am so mad at myself for wasting 6 months of communication with my boy. Not only does it work, but IT'S COOL again to talk to dad. This review is left in thanks not only for the radio, but how it got my son and I closer and gave dad an opportunity to be cool. Thank you so much and I would recommend Rapid Radios to anyone that will listen. Not just for the communication, but for the customer service and the ancillary benefits such as family closeness.     I purchased 5 radios. I left one with a neighbor in Houston and took the other 4 to Northern New Mexico 950 miles away. Clear as a landline call. Then from the mountains to Albuquerque 90 miles away with same clarity. Hold button down 1 second prior to talking and release button 1-2 seconds after for the best results. 5 star rating in my experience

    Have 3 radios and a base unit in my Polaris side-by side. Work with EMS and do some special events. Radios work great. Have tried Georgia to Alaska and worked great. Also do some mission trips out of the country and considering getting International coverage on at least 2 of the radios. Overall great radios and better reception and definitely better coverage than my UHF radios. Very good battery life. Highly recommend. Although no monthly charges for service, there is a reasonable Annual fee for service that applies. First year service is included in the cost of the Radios. Company provides good customer service.

    I  was traveling in a very remote area with little-to-no cell service. Using my Rapid Radio, I was able to communicate with my family letting them know my situation. I was a Nextel customer back in the day. These radios seem to be of that technology but better. They are very easy to use and offer several days of standby time with a single charge. I've purchased 3 and will be buying 2 more for family members who live in another country. Thank you Rapid Radios!

    Great Radios. I have had no problems at all and I am an FCC licensed Radio HAM and I know Radios. I got these to use for me and my wife instead of phones at times when our cell companies have a problem and these have been great. Lots of use and batteries go down a little quicker but that is to be expected. Idle time lasts for a few days. Company was friendly in my contacts with them and helpful.

    We bought 6 radios, they work great. We had a friend take one to Palmer, Alaska and we talked from Palmer, Alaska to Wharton, TX 4,219 miles apart. No issues, Highly recommend.
