    TOOK MY 2010 ******** TO DEXTER TIRE TO HAVE A ***** END ALIGNMENT DONE ON IT AS I REPLACED THE ***** STRUTS MYSELF.THE STRUTS WERE TORQUED TO A SPECIFIC FT. LB. RATING.THE STRUTS MADE NO NOISE WHAT SO EVER ON THE WAY TO THE GARAGE.PERFECTLY SILENT,AS THEY SHOULD BE.AFTER THE ALIGNMENT THE STRUTS WERE VERY NOISY AS I DROVE THE ****** I TOOK IT BACK TO DEXTER TIRE WITHIN ABOUT 5 MINUTES.I GOT A COMPLETE SONG AND DANCE FROM THE YOUNG ********** THEY SAID THEY DID NOT TOUCH THE TOP PARTS OF THE ********* WHEN I GOT HOME TO MY OWN GARAGE,I CHECKED THE TORQUE **************** WAS DIFFERENT FR4OM WHAT I SET IT ************* THE MANBAGER LIED TO MY FACE.HE TOLD ME THE STRUTS WERE DEFECTIVE,AND SHOULD TAKE THEM BACK TO NAPA WHERE I GOT ******* MY CHECKING THE TORQUE SPEC AFTER I GOT HOME PPROVED THAT THE STRUTS WERE INDEED LOOSENED UP AND NOT PROPERLY RETORQUED!THEY HAVE SEEN THE LAST OF ME,AS THE MANAGER HAD A VERY POOR ATTITUDUE,INSISTING THAT THEY DID NOTHING WRONG.AGAIN,THE STRUTS WERE BRAND NEW WHEN I WENT TO THE DEXTER TIRE GARAGE AND THEY WERE SILENT.AFTER THEY WORKED ON THE CAR,THE STRUTS WERE VERY NOISY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    This customer came in for an alignment with us and after leaving he returned saying there was a noise coming from his strut. We brought the vehicle back in and assessed the situation very quickly. We showed the customer where the noise was coming from which is the strut top and is no where near where we needed to make adjustments for the alignment. We tried to explain this to the customer but he didn't want to listen to our mechanic. We also tried to help the customer by tightening the bolts a little (as the customer installed them himself) and lubricating the top of the strut but the customer was extremely unwilling to let us help. We recommended bringing the struts back to where he purchased them to see if they can warranty the item but it appeared he wanted no help from us so he left.
