On October 4, 2024, I filed a better business bureau BBB Scam Tracker alert on the company Eterna Day Spa. I reported the initial claim because I was having difficulty getting the nail services that I requested. While getting my nails done, I noticed that most of the workers (both Hispanic and Asian) were pretending not to know how to speak English (I saw many singing the words to songs they liked and talking to colleagues) and then up charging customers (including myself) for additional charges that should have been included in the total purchases. During my first visit in September, I was charged additional money for average length nails, after asking for the total amount in advance and was told by the Hispanic receptionist if I had just gotten my nails a little shorter than I would not have been charged extra. What if I didn't have the money? On Oct. 4, this same sort of behavior happened. In addition, the lady who was working on my nails put a mask on, ignored my questions/nail requests and would often look up from doing my nails and cough in my face. The receptionist asked for a tip and then while I was getting my nails done, she asked to collect payment and tried to get the PIN to my card which is why I reported the incident to BBB.On Oct. 7, I received a message from BBB saying:Thank you for reporting your experience to BBB Scam Tracker. We take your report seriously and strive to ensure it is used in the most effective manner. Based on the information you provided, we have determined that your submission would most effectively be handled by BBB as a customer review or a complaint to ensure the information you have submitted is included on the businesss profile. On Oct. 18, I went to a new nail tech who arrived late and at the beginning of my service took the electric nail drill and dug into my finger and ran it all the away across my finger. My finger started bleeding and then she dipped her hand in a bowl of hot acetone put it on my wound. I left.

My appointment was set for 1:30pm on Wednesday June 14, 2023. My nail technician ***** was running behind. I felt as though the process was rushed but none the less I was patient. I requested coffin shaped nails. She made them square and said they were coffin. Pictures of my nails will be attached. (Please ****** a reference photo for coffin shaped nails.) Her attitude was unbecoming. She became rude and defensive as I let her know it wasnt what I requested. She need proceeded to start a pedicure while I fixed my nail because he was over filed. A nail on my other hand was made too thick. The length of the nails on my thumb to match the over all length. She still charged me $55 for coffin shaped gel polish acrylic full set. I shouldve been charged $47 for this basic square gel polish acrylic set via website prices. I would like a complete refund of $55. I did have to go to another salon to fix my nail. That cost me $11.
