    I signed up for a gym membership with Gold's Silver Spring in November of 2023 and paid $39.98 to secure my membership. The gym was still under construction at the time. They promised delivery via their signage in ******* 2024. When ******* came, they promised spring. When spring came, they promised summer. When summer came, they promised fall. The club's construction is at a standstill from looking in through the windows. I have contacted their third-party customer service, *********************, (because they do not have a direct phone number) four times now and each time a representative says they will contact the gym to request cancellation of my membership and a refund of the money I paid in November. Two times the call was disconnected with no call back and no resolution. One time, the representative said she would send me an email confirming she reached out to the club for cancellation and I received no email. On my third call, I have finally received an email from ********************* confirming they contacted the gym for my cancellation and refund request, but I am not hopeful. There has been no direct communication with members regarding this gym's delayed openning, just signage and word of mouth from other disgruntled members. Some of us had to pay to secure membership and the more I speak with people, I find that a lot of people did not have to pay. This whole situation feels like there is something fraudulent going on and I am concerned about those that signed contracts and paid for services and a gym that is not holding their end of the contract.
