    I utilized Franklins Moving Services to pack and store my apartment after I moved my items from my condo in May 2024. I used their online estimator for moving services and had my friends at my apartment to aid in the moving process. Unfortunately, it was bad service from the beginning but I did not have much choice since I was out of the country. The initial quote they gave after I used their quoting service online was 3x less than the charge they ended up moving me for. On top of that, they didn't show up on the moving day. I had to call and beg them to come out. I had to access my things in storage over the year and out of the 5 times I called them to set an appointment my friends were only able to access my storage twice. Over the duration, they even failed to bill me on a monthly basis. I made 4 bulk payments over the year. When I decided to move my things out of the unit (due to cost and accessibility, my new unit is half the cost) I made sure to call well in advance and schedule 2 dates with them to facilitate the move-out. It was clear in the conversation that the second date would be the final move-out yet they did not alert me of any move-out processes. When the second date rolled around they no-showed for the move-out. I am requesting restitution for the expenses I paid for a truck and movers. I called them (June 9) before my team arrived and they refused to accommodate us even though the date was scheduled around their convenience on May 27th. After the no-show they were non-communicative to scheduling a new date. They gave their availability expecting us to come for move-out the same morning. On top of this, I have items missing/mixed from their storage. When my friend showed up to move (June 11) morning they called me to say that they wouldn't be allowed to touch my things unless my account was paid in full which they had not billed me for. I had to wait for them to send an invoice in order for my friend to start packing the truck.
