  Owner (****) provided an estimate for work on my Columbia home for the following services and stated that he required the money upfront before he could begin the work. I Paid him $854.83 on September 5, 2023 for the following services: Clean & disinfect basement walls using germicidal bleach to prevent mold growth. Paint lower half of basement walls concrete block sealant. The home is currently occupied by a tenant and the work was supposed to have started the following day however there was a scheduling issue with the tenant and my *********************** resulting in the work detained until September 13th.He arrived on the property to perform the aforementioned work and I'd received a letter from the *************** ******************** upon my renewal that there were 2 items that needed to be addressed ASAP. I and my property management company inquired of **** while at the property for potentially addressing 2 additional items for which he provided an additional quote of $444.51 on September 13, 2023 to front door lock/handle repl. and Ext. Wall Paint around the entire home. On the following Thursday I contacted for an update on the status of the work and was informed he wasn't at the property but getting the supplies from **********. I asked for pics of the ********* performed and was provided a before and after picture which showed the mold stains still on the wall except that they were mildly faded. I was told the work however wasn't completed as of yet. He'd informed me that he'd be back on the property on Monday (Sept. 18). I gave him until Thursday (Sept 21, 2023) and left a message. He didn't return the call. I reached out and called again on Friday (Sept 22, 2023) and left a voice message; again no returned call. Have aborted further attempts to contact after leaving several more messsage. Owner collected ******* and aborted further communications afterward

  Yes we did do work for Mr. **** on behalf of *****************. Yes he did send payment. The work to be preformed was primarily outside work.. In order to paint outside it needs to be dry and warmWe are a Husband and Wife team and unfortunately when it rains we have to reschedule work.. We tried to answer phone calls and respond to messages Tried to keep him and Renters Warehouse informed .. The work has been completed There were issues with finding the correct door handle but as of October 8th the Storm door handle is working . We have sent photos of completed work to renters warehouse and Mr ******  I can also provide photos to the bbb if necessary.  We hope that since the work has been completed and the ******************** Renters Warehouse) is satisfied with the work completed..We know Its stressful working with third parties and from another stateAnd we understand the reason for his complaints..We hope that now the work is complete  Everyone is happy
