    Complaint Details:My daughters, ****** **** and **** ****, were enrolled in reading and writing lessons with *** ***** at SpiderSmart Learning Center Gaithersburg, scheduled every Thursday from 4:20 PM to 5:20 PM.On May 15, 2025, an incident occurred during class. *** ***** attempted to take Sophias work to review, but since she was still actively working on it, she declined to hand it over. Despite her refusal, *** ***** took the paper from her desk. ****** felt disrespected by this interaction, and her sister ****, who was present, shared that sentiment.I reported the matter to the centers director, *** ******, who investigated the issue. However, he claimed that ****** had a conflict with another student during class, which allegedly contributed to the situation with *** ****** ****** did not agree with that assessment.Following this incident, I requested a refund for the remaining sessions, but *** ****** responded that the payment had already been processed and was non-refundable. We ultimately agreed to pause lessons until Ms. ******** the girls previous teacher, returned in June.Since then, I have followed up multiple times via email asking when Ms. ******* would be returning so that my daughters could resume their lessons, but I have received no response from *** *******Due to the unresolved nature of the incident, the lack of accountability, and the ongoing communication issues, I no longer feel comfortable sending my children to this learning center. I am requesting a refund for the unused portion of the prepaid lessons.
