I went to Daraile ********** known as Munchy the ****** on June 7th for a specialty service. He was advertised on his social media accounts as a subject matter expert in the service I requested. So, I trusted I would receive the services desired. However, the quality of services that was rendered did not exemplify the services advertised. I initially paid $350 for the service and during my appointment he was ******* through my services to get to an engagement that was not mentioned to me prior to booking my appointment with him. When I arrived home, I noticed there was wiring exposed in my hair. It was not fixable on my end. Therefore, I reached out to him about the issue, and he admitted that he did it wrong would ONLY fix it if I paid $150. So, I made an appointment for June 12th to get something fixed that wasn't my error. However, during this appointment he erroneously cut my hair again. This time, I was severely cut, and he covered up the mess he made with something I did not request. I did not know at the time but once I got home the quality of services began to be exposed. I experienced severe burning and itching. I reached out to him on how to best resolve the issue because this was the second encounter for the same service within a week's timeframe. Unfortunately, he was very rude and unprofessional and canceled the appointment that I made to attempt to rectify the issue. At this point, I wanted to receive the money back for the services I received because I was not treated fairly and scammed out of money for services that did not reach the standard of his advertised work. I am out of $500+ and have severe scarring on my hair for his inability to live up to the expectations of what he falsely advertised. I am hoping to have a resolution to the issue and bring awareness so others will not have to experience what I endured.

    Business Response

    Date: 09/16/2024

Good afternoon! I received this notification because I was notified about how a customer was not pleased about his service.

when I first received the message from Mr ******* I told him I have experience in doin the hair replacements however when I offer these services I offer a client consultation bfor doin any work.

in this consultation I meet with the client to do measurements , the main goal your trying to achieve with your hair & I also than take a deposit to order the unit so its a accurate fit & texture for the client. Price 150

however Mr. ******* declined insisted on moving forward with out..  I than told him that would be his decision but not what I prefer.

moving forward prior to the appointment. Mr ****** came in the day of just so happen he had the wrong size hair piece and I had to make the adjustments. Did he leave pleased or satisfied- he was ok

the following day he than reached out via social media about how the hair piece didnt fit his head and he wanted to make some adjustments

I then told him again the unit was not his correct size & adjustments had to be made

We came up with a decision if he wanted to come back another time so we can fix the issue

I openly agreed but I also insisted to make the hair piece order on my end & I didnt charge him full price I offered him the maintenance rate just to help out

Mr .******* replied iv ordered the hair piece I said Ok its totally up to the client if they wanna go there own way with the purchase but like I said I also make the purchases for my clients that iv been working with for the past years or so.. iv never had a bad hair unit experience and my work speaks for itself

but however after the work was done I showed Mr. ******* he also replied he appreciated the work & my time

it was the following day Mr. ******* reached out via ************ he appreciated the work & time & effort I put in he was pleased

but it wasnt til Mr ******* reached out booking another appointment for the following weekend I replied *** you booked for a particular hair cut on my book & the cut he rocked was not that so I was unsure if thats what he meant to book.  I thought he meant to book for a maintenance. However this was not a maintenance

this was a redo all over again for a cut I replied in on via social media Hey *** if you do NOT like what your getting when you come back Ill give you a refund after the service he than replied with a whole lot of messages in which I thought was very rational it was a lot I told him I dont have problems like this so I canceled his appointment & did not wanna serve him because I did not want this to be a on goin thing.
