My furniture got damaged. The moving truck was small (20ft) the owner ******* said her trucks were tied up and she couldn't move me until Saturday. The agreed date was Friday Dec 30. I told her I would check with the landlord/apartment leasing office due to it was a holiday weekend and they would be closed. I checked with them and it was ok. When I called the owner back she said she rented a truck and we were on for Dec 30. When they got to my apt, I saw the *********** questioned it and the ********************* said not to worry, meanwhile one of the guys wasn't listening to him and did things his own way so at one point *** took furniture out of the truck and rearranged it. Then when we got to my new place one section of the sofa wouldn't fit in the elevator so they carried up and charged me but whatever I understand. They broke a tall (6 shelf) picture stand, it cracked in half, one of the bunk beds is all scratched up on one side. My sofa is all scuffed and torn on the corners, 2 Of my kitchen chairs are chipped and the top has a few scratches. I called the office to let them know and after I told the guy he yelled at me and said I'm a liar and I just want something out of the deal and I planned this. First of all I paid $800 CASH, I scheduled a transfer to my credit card but it didn't go thru until 10am and he called me at 9:30 and said he was stopping the move unless I paid him but yet wouldn't give me a chance to run to the *** and deposit money, Needless to say I gave *** (*******) $800.00 in Cash because they estimated my move to be 5 hours @135.00 and 100.00truck fee, he said he would give me a refund if it was less time. The move should of only taken 3- 3 1/2 hours but because they sent such a small truck they had to keep rearranging my furniture, at one point it was only 2 of the guys because the owner was calling every **************************************************************** and started helping. I just want my furniture repaired or replaced.

***** knew tht the truck was a 20' and she said it would be okay because she did not have alot. we discussed this on the call between myself and her. i will talk to the ******************* and ask about these claims because i was at the offload and she did not say anythig to me about any of this and i spoke to her personally. I will check with the ****** and get back to her with what he says. I can have *** come there and check it out also, not a problem and will fix the scratches for her.

      thank you
