    I took my car for a simple oil change to Midas in raynham, MA on 05/17/2024 because I was past due. The oil change came with a free tire rotation also. The report came back my car was fine and the oil change was done. I had my car a day or two and noticed oil leaking. I immediately called and wasnt able to get my car looked at due to it being a weekend day. I bright my car that following Tuesday for them to check. I mentioned that my car had started to vibrate/shake when going over 60mph too. Which it either of these things happened before bringing my car to Midas. They check my oil and came out to tell me the bolt was faulty. They then proceeded to redo the oil change and that will fix everything. Another 10 minutes go by and they come to tell me I had a hair line crack on my oil pan, which was not there before hand. I had no problems at all with my car. They then tried to tell me it was my fault and they were not responsible for the crack in the oil pan and that I had to get it replaced. They didnt offer any deal or even check my tires for the vibrating. I had to spend hundreds of dollars to get that fixed when they are the ones that crack my oil pan.

    Here at Midas we do a 27 point digital courtesy check on all vehicles that we service. We take pictures of everything that we inspect and we send them to the customer via text message and our program saves the pictures in our system.. We have a picture of the oil pan leaking when the customer brought her vehicle in. Unfortunately I was on vacation when the customer called our corporate office but I had another supervisor covering for me. ******* called ****** and left a message to call him back so we could discuss a resolution to the issue but she never returned his call. We take customer service very serious at ********************. When we know how much the replacement oil pan was we can certainly entertain coming to an agreement that is fair.
