    I contacted R.M. Cacciapaglia to repair brick steps on front of house. They came out of 4/29/2025 to repoint the bricks and clean and seal. The power washer they brought did not work and initially they blamed this on the electricity in the house and the extension cord. Both of these things are in perfect working condition. They said they would wait to seal the brick and then decided they would seal them anyway that day. A check in the amount of $600 was issued to *** Cacciapaglia, it was cashed the following day. They sealed in all of the dirt and dust from repointing the bricks, as well as lichen on the steps, that would have been removed if they had properly power washed the steps. This did not appear to look any better after the steps dried. Two weeks after the work was done, I asked how to remove the seal, as the steps look terrible with the dirt and dust sealed in. They told me they could be power washed and they would return to correct this when the power washer was fixed. They were waiting for parts.I called again on 6/24/2025 and was told they'd just received the parts and they would come out some time the following week to fix the issue. It is now July 19, 2025 and they have not returned to correct their mistake.
