    I was beyond upset about the horrible care my husband received at CareOne of Millbury. He is a young man in his 50's suffering from cancer, he was sent there for Rehab & although the PT & OT he received was wonderful, I had him removed from the facility in less than one weeks time. Due to his cancer, he is required medications for pain, the orders never arrived at the facility when he did. They did not know he had cancer, they did not know he had CDiff (as the nurse was sitting next to hime without a gown on his bed), they did not know he required a walker and nothing was prepared for him for his late evening arrival. They had to search the facility for a walker for him. They eventually found one, but I brought one from home as well, just in case. The very first night he was there he fell, this is a man that has numerous fractures due to cancer, and due to his call light not being answered in a timely manor, he had fallen in the bathroom. He is required to wear a neck brace & a back brace, the aid put the back brace on him backwards (it is clearly marked front/back/top). When asked what the normal length of time should pass before a call light is answered, I was told by the nursing director 5 min, 10 at the longest, he had to wait over 20 when I was also informed by the nursing director that they were fully staffed. When I voiced my concern about my husbands fear of his call light not being answered quickly at night, a nurse had shared that something the evening staff like to SLEEP! They did not meet his dietary needs, I had to leave 2 messages asking for them to please provide him with a menu.. A person with CDiff does not want cold fish, a hot dog with fries or a meatloaf as a meal. The list is truly endless of upsetting issues. I was able to get him transferred back to ******** * *********** ******...at least there I know his needs are being met. I never felt he was safe in that facility from night number one.
