Pressure washer was damaged during move. Mover told my wife and I that it was heavy and it had flipped over on them. I have sent pictures of damage to stow in text message and another text with invoice of repair cost. No response to either text. I have called and left voice mail, no response.

The item he is speaking of was the pull cord assembly on the power washer. There’s a small plastic piece inside the assembly that causes the cord to wind up after pulling. The plastic piece inside broke. The only way that piece breaks is when you go to pull the rope to start it. I am a mover, not a power washer  so there’s no reason for me to pull the rope.

I am rejecting this response because:

He could not pull the rope because he broke it moving. His own employee admitted he dropped it. In addition there is damage on the leather sofa and kitchen table and chairs that are currently in storage building that they placed there. These pictures with the damage to pressure washer will be forwarded to the state attorney general. I will not pay for service and have property damaged and have a sarcastic remarks  from the owner when they damage my property. I paid to move not for damage.

    Sincerely,

Thie customer complaint is totally irrational and untrue AND NOW THERE ARE MULTIPLE ISSUES…this gentleman has made complaints since the first time I moved him. The family he purchased his home from in Ruston made complaints about him, his neighbors in Ruston complained about him and the family who purchased his home prior to moving this current time made complaints about him. The men who unloaded the truck never once said the power washer was dropped. As a matter of fact the power washer was located at the back of an enclosed moving trailer. It was 2 ft off the ground and has wheels on it.

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

My wife was standing there to verify what mover stated they dropped it. What a lame tactic to say neighbors complained and people who bought my home complained. This is typical of unprofessional movers to avoid the subject at hand which is they damaged  items and i have the damaged items to show it. Concerning Stows moving multiple people in Ruston including realtors told me not to use Stows moving due to  complaints they have experienced. What we are experiencing now is what all these people complained about. Concerning the first time he moved  us, the first time was just Stow moving lied to us about where the trucks were goung to be parked overnight with our furniture, we were told on his property secured, in reality they were left in a super one parking lot not even locked, and when we found them and called Stow he told us they were locked which was not the truth from Stow. Again character and professionalism are the question at hand.

    Sincerely,
