I went to this dentist in October of 2021 for a initial visit wanting a cleaning. They did not clean my teeth, but insisted on x-rays and rescheduling for a cleaning. I filled out all initial patient paperwork including insurance. When I went to check out, front desk said they would bill the insurance and let me know of any additional information needed and scheduled my appointment for my cleaning. I forgot the date of the cleaning and was not provided a with an appendment reminder. About a month later the office then called 2 times to schedule my cleaning appointment. Frustrated by their disorganization and insisting on a higher charge initial rather than the cleaning I requested, I decided to take my business elsewhere. On October 9, 2023 I was called by Wakefield debt collection for an outstanding bill with Advanced Dental Concepts. I received the debt collectors direct line and name and immediately called Advanced Dental Concepts to understand what happened and why I wasn't notified. The front desk person noted that my file looked off as there was no insurance listed, only the bill, but that there are two calls logged for me and an electronic notice, but that the front desk in 2021 "was a mess" and she would call debt collector to see if they can resurrect and call me back. 1 week late, no call, only from the debt collector again, who confirmed ADC did not call them to investigate. I paid ********* to clear the debt but told debt collector it feels like insurance fraud. When she collected my information, she tried to verify an address I never lived at. When she looked it up, ADC had their address listed for me confirming they never notified me of debt, which sparked concern that was reported up the chain at Wakefield (and a 20% discount). ADC has yet to call me back after saying they would from our call and in response to reviews on both Facebook and Google.
