    WILDCAT WINDOW TINTING 03/16 PURCHASE LEXINGTON KY Debit Card $227.81
    WILDCAT WINDOW TINTING 03/17 PURCHASE LEXINGTON KY Debit Card $125.00

    This business committed to provide a bubble and crease free window tint.
    The nature of the dispute is as follows;

    1st time in – Tint applied on all windows. Later that evening, I noticed the windshield strip was crooked.

    2nd time in – Came back to get windshield strip re-installed, opted for full windshield tint instead. After the installation, the windshield tint had numerous bubbles and creases. I was told it was normal and would go away after a few weeks of hot weather. But if it didn’t, to bring it back and they would re-do it.

    3rd time in – Warranty: Came in to have ALL windows fixed due to tint containing bubbles and creases on every tinted window, windshield, and rear glass. The weather had been hot, yet still the bubbles and creases remained. I was told that was also normal until I pointed out all the debris causing the bubbles. They have a “5 foot rule – If the bubble isn’t visible from 5 feet, they don’t fix it… The owner and I could both see them from well beyond 5 feet.

    4th time in – Warranty: Had to come back because they only replaced tint on 2 windows rather than all windows. They admitted fault and said there was miscommunication between front desk and shop guys. They replaced two other windows. They did not replace the front not rear windshield tint. When I returned to show them the debris, bubbles, and creases also on the new tint, they said "too bad". I asked for a refund, they stated "no refunds".

    The quality of work does not match their commitment and promises. I went to other tint shops for their opinions on the quality, and every shop confirmed that this is not how window tint should look if it is applied properly.

    My windows tint still contains visible bubbles, and creases.

    Thank you for your time.

    Business Response

    Date: 12/28/2022

    We have tried on multiple times to fix the issues that have been photoed. We try to provide each and any customer a 100% job but do elements out of control such as the cleanness of the customer vehicle and the instructions that the customers must follow with after care we can not follow each and every one. We have signs posted in our shop letting customers know about our refund policy and our cleanness policy.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    Vehicle cleanliness is not an issue. I may have security and dash cameras inside my vehicle which show a clean interior. The shop door in which the tint was installed was open for the duration of the installation, with vehicles entering and exiting during the install. Moving vehicles raise dust. All of my vehicles doors were left open.

    Aftercare on the part of the customer requires not opening windows. Opening windows would cause tiny edges to raise, and peel. I don't have those issues. I have debris under the tint causing bubbles.

    Sincerely,
