      Upgraded two phones and changed providers recently before the phones were 'paid off' to get better coverage across areas that have no coverage except roaming. One phone plan was 2 months away from complete and the other ~8. Both were given a '36 month promotional rate' and after transferring to a new carrier the bill includes the majority of the promotional cost and not pro-rated. Was expecting to pay what was left on the phone, not the phone + the 'promotional discount'. The promotional rate is not even a special rate it is just some hidden fees they say you get a discount on. So now left with a 1200+ bill that should have been no more than 3-400. Absolutely terrible business practices. Tried to resolve issue with the company and they said management looked at it and there was 'nothing they can do'.

      It is common practice for all Cell Phone Carriers to charge back any promotional credits that were given to the customer if the agreement was not met to full term (36 months). At the Time of upgrading or adding service an agreement is signed that states you agree to the terms of service, and if a  promotion is given an you  disconnect prior to the term ending you are going to be charged the promotional credits back in full. 

      I have attached both agreements as proof that they were signed agreeing to this Financial Responsibility.

      When services were disconnected with Nex-Tech Wireless no one from the account reached out prior before disconnecting services about going to a new carrier to inquire about any early fees or chargebacks that would result in ending the term early. Normally if you do contact us to let us know you are leaving the company we do explain the early termination fees and promotional charge back fees that are included with disconnecting prior to the terms of service being reached.

      We also do not see that received any communication about any issues with service or communication that the customer dissatisfied with our services to know that the customer was looking to disconnect services with Nex-Tech Wireless.

      I am rejecting this response because: I reached out to your company (in person) months before I had to switch. I wanted to make sure approximately how much was still owed in the event we needed to switch early. I was told the price of the phones that was left, no mention of some hidden fees where they charge you for 1000$ of the 1200$ discounted rate. The staff was extremely helpful, like they always were. I apologized to them for having to switch and they apologized to me for having poor services in southern and eastern Kansas. I told them as soon as we returned I would come into the store and switch back with their help. More apologies and thanks were given and that was the end.  Today I feel satisfied as well. Your customer service and the people working for your have always been amazing. I have told everyone to check out Nextech for internet or wireless because the people are helpful and have never had a single issue. I felt very satisfied as a long time customer of Nextech wireless.

       

       Today I also feel very satisfied. Your response has ensured that I will absolutely never do business with Nextech or Nextech wireless again. I will do everything I can to tell every person to not use Nextech or Nextech wireless for the rest of my days in Kansas. I want no other reply from your company or any further contact. I will apologize to the people at the store I spoke with and let them know that I will no longer be able to do business with them. Thank you again for helping me to this decision now, saving ourselves from even greater issues in the future. I wish you and your company nothing but the worst.
