I have been a IA for years and a contractor before it for more years. Honestly, this is the only company that wants me to dig through trash and risk being injured, wants me to provide all my own PPE gear, and does not pay me for my drive time hours away and hours back. they don't allow you to work remotely they want you to sit onsite in the 90 degree heat with elderly people who just had a tragic fire loss who don't have a house or the home is not livable and sit outside in the heat while your laptop and phone are burning up Then they expect you to have service and when you don't and have to complete anything off site they refuse to pay you for it and make ridiculous claims and conditions like return 3 hours away with no pay to take more needless photos of items that are burnt to toast black. Honestly, this company told me not to document any brands or labels of items from the insured's own words, that they'd do that part. They told me not to go over the content sheet with the insured, cause it causes issues for them later. I have done contents for commercial claims with entire hotel rooms total loss and never was told once to question the insured you take the insureds word and hold it as true and write down the items and brands. It's illegal to try to contest and argue what they had or alter what they said they had. We have to, by law, trust the insured to be honest with us, and we document that.this time I am going to start advocating for insurance industries to go ahead and just start paying out the entire personal property covered amount just like they are mandated to do so in ******** and other states cause these people are just picking apart contents and trying to make insureds lifes harder by just haggling them down to the bottom dollar and saying that if its burnt past identifying don't take names and brands for it even if they have owner manuals other items to prove it its the burnt item presented in
