    I am filing a complaint against Recovery Plus for predatory towing practices violating Indianas towing laws, including House Bill 1493 and House Enrolled Act 1390. My motorcycle was towed after an accident, and I faced excessive charges and non-compliance. On 8/13/2025, my motorcycle ********************* Train was towed 2 miles by Recovery Plus in ********, IN while I was hospitalized for 4 days. I was charged $750 to retrieve it, but the company refused to provide an itemized invoice (IC 24-14-5 violation). Verbal charges included: $325 tow, $200 storage ($50/day), $150 state fee (unsubstantiated), and $75 for extra personnel. The motorcycle was damaged during towing, suggesting negligence. I offered 50% ($375) per House Bill 1493, which requires release upon partial payment and a complaint filing, but the company rejected this and closed early on 8/16/2025 following making said offer, blocking recovery. I request: Release of my motorcycle upon reasonable payment (50% or 70%). Review of the $750 invoice. Reimbursement for damages. Sanctions against the company.I have limited documentation due to the invoice refusal but can provide damage photos.
