Hello Mr. ***** my name is ******* and I am the property manager for Chase Equities. The person that made the complaint only did so after being told she had to pay her remaining balance or eviction was to follow. This was her first month moving in with us. I got an organization to help her with the move in cost myself. She did not have to pay anything but her first month's rent. She did not have it however I still helped her into a place because she was homeless after her last eviction. She contacted me stating that there was a smell in the building so I did several inspections to the entire building. She made a complaint about the apartment baseboards not being clean at the end of the month. So we offered to come in and clean even though she had already moved in and had been having people stay with her. She did not want us to come in and fix things she said she had already done, she wanted money that she owed removed for her cleaning services. So that she would not have to pay until this month. We had agreed to take the money off because she stated she had cancer and it was very hard on her and she even gave me her DR. **** which turned out to all be false. When my staff showed up for another inspection for the smell at the property she refused to let them in and told them how she has sued several other landlords and won in court and that she hasnt had to pay rent in years because of the complaints she makes. This month is when I found out that the medical condition she said she had was a false one and when I  went by to collect rent from her and she has since vacated the apartment and left it in horrible condition. We are taking this matter to court. The amount she was wanting in her complaint was her rent amount. If you have any further questions please feel free to reach out to me. Email at this time is better as I am recovering from surgery.
