This business played guessing games the entire time they worked on my HVAC. They came out SEVERAL times over a few months. They NEVER fixed the problem. So, their guessing game cost me over a $1,000. The one charge is for a static pressure test, that I do NOT feel I should pay for, as it was NOT necessary. The problem was a two small of a trunk that feeds the house. And, the too small of a trunk was totally rusted out at the area next to the furnace. The area was visible without going under the house and without the need for a static pressure test. They talked me into putting another return air vent ($900+) and that was NOT what I needed. In fact, it made the leaking problem worse. I finally, after several months, called a different company. They had the entire problem fixed within 3 days, as we needed all new ductwork under the house and with the age of the unit, opted to replace the unit. We have had NO issues since then! What I dont feel is fair, is the $125+ that Kennedys is charging for an unnecessary test. I dont feel it is fair to charge me for their guessing game. They were guessing so bad, that they kept sending different people (even the owner *****) to try and figure it out. I did pay the almost $1000 for the unnecessary return air vent. I am just contesting the unnecessary static test cost. The company that fixed our problem reported that the static pressure test was 100% not necessary! I have made multiple attempts at resolving this issue with the owner *****, and he is so cocky and ignores my calls/voicemails/text. He told me on Monday that he would get back to me by Wednesday. Well, as usual, he NEVER did. I gave him one more chance today. I stopped in the office and explained that he had until 4p today to get back with me, or I was filing a complaint with BBB. Again, he has ignored me. All, I am asking is to not be charged for the unnecessary test.
