    On August 7, 2024, Wever Tree Service gave me a quote to remove a tree at my residence. It was for a full clean up and haul off and the quote was for $1500.00. I hired him for the job. On Thursday, August 15, 2024, Wever Tree Service came to do the job. My aunt was present to pay the bill upon completion. When the son of the owner came to get payment, he stated that the ***** was still there but they had to come back with the machine needed to grind up the ***** but asked for the payment as they would be right back. She did pay them the whole amount and they never returned. She also asked for a receipt which the son of the owner stated that he would bring it when they returned as his father, the owner, was incessantly honking and started to drive away so he could not access any paperwork to give to her. My husband and I have tried calling and texting the number of the owner and he will not answer the phone or respond to texts. We paid for a complete removal and haul off of a tree and expect the job to be completed.
