I was very pleased with my RIVERSIDE Retro camper until I was driving 25 mph through a small town in ******* when the welds holding the tongue to the rest of the frame failed completely, dropping the tongue on the ground and grinding through my electric cable and propane line. Thank God I had the propane tank off or there surely would have been an explosion and fire, and my suburban's 30 gallon gas tank is behind the rear axle Before the wrecker driver touched my trailer he said "It must have a ******* frame. They're having lots of problems." He was right. Neither Riverside, who built the trailer, nor *******, who supplied the frame, will stand behind their work, despite their claims on the website that they want everyone to have good experiences with them. Neither company issued a recall or alerted owners to check their frames. ******* is involved in a class action lawsuit from 2020 so they know their components are failing. Riverside said they'd "go bankrupt if they warranted their trailers more than 2 years." They blamed me - I must have overloaded it, or didn't store it properly, etc.. Not true. ******* also said no warranty for me. This isn't a broken fridge - THIS IS A LIFE THREATENING CATASTROPHIC FAILURE. AND THE PEOPLE DRIVING THESE TRAILERS ARE IN DANGER! Everyone driving near me was at risk when the welds failed. I'm also out $2000 for repairs and my trailer is still not right. I am afraid to drive it until I can get the whole frame inspected. I have alerted NHTSA and Consumer rReports. If you own an RV, check who made your frame - ******* stickers are underneath between ball and ***** ******* makes components for many RV manufacturers. Get it inspected to stay safe. I wish I had known!! I am not so angry that it failed, but I'm furious that they have not and are not alerting customers to avoid potentially devastating consequences and beef up the frame before the trailer is damaged and people are seriously injured.

We bought a brand new riverside intrepid from ************* **** on June 9th 2023. From day one this camper has been a disaster. On our very first trip we had a very bad storm. Just before the storm hit we frantically tried to retract the awning. It would not work. The storm hit, and our awning ripped. Our refrigerator door would not open. panels are popping off the screws. Trim around the sink, and the bathroom door were not secured. During our first trip the bathroom doorknob was laying on the floor along with a light lens cap. The drywall under the sink had holes in it. On our return trip we found out our hitch and sway bars were installed improperly. They had to lift up the truck with a forklift to get the swaybars off. Then came the real frustration! Mig rvs in ************* will not return our calls. The manager ***** will not return our calls. We have no idea where we stand with the warranty ***** Because the service ***** Said he couldn't get the awning to fail, so the warranty **** probably wouldn't replace it. Since then we recently took it camping again. The awning failed again. It is now July 31, and nothing has been fixed except the trim pieces. We are at our **** end with this pile of junk, and the mig rv dealer in *************. Now our refrigerator door is under warranty. I wouldn't recommend buying a riverside camper. The customer service is terrible, and the campers are not made well.

If I could give no star, I would. A day after buying our camper, it began to have problems. I contacted the rv seller and they tried to help us, but we live out west and there were no authorized dealers. I continued to call the manufacturer but all voice mails were full, for months! I finally was able to leave a message at the operators line, but no one called me back. Now that there is an authorized dealer in my town, they wont return the calls from the dealer to honor the warranty! Riverside is not a good business!
