    I reside at ***** 38, which is managed by ******************* On 8/31/2024 I came outside and noticed my truck wasnt where I parked it. After figuring out that it wasnt stolen, I contacted ***************** who has contract with the complex to enforce parking. The manager for Joeys (******) informed me my truck was there and said I didnt have my parking permit displayed. I told her I did have it displayed on my dash on the drivers side. She then said she could see it in the pictures they took but it wasnt the right pass. I contacted ***** at ***** and she was rude and unhelpful. Due to it being a holiday weekend, I waited until Tuesday to contact them again. She then told me my permit was there but had to be affixed to the windshield. My mom, who is also on my lease, went into the ************ and spoke with Mr. ********* She has the conversation recorded and him saying I do have the correct pass and that the towing situation there is out of control. She asked for a manager to call her. He said he was forwarding to *****, director of operations. After several emails back and forth with another employee, *****, we still have not been able to get in touch with a manager. We reread our lease and no where does it say the pass has to be in a specific area or affixed anywhere. Anvil 38/Ironman Properties and **************** have unethical and illegal towing going on and its constant tenants an exorbitant amount of money to regain their vehicles. The apartment complex is not following their own lease and preying on tenants. It is my belief that ***** and Ironman Properties are both gaining financially from this. It is worth an investigation to keep others from suffering and going through what I have been through from their landlord. I also filed a complaint on ***************** in another internet form with your office.

    To whom it may concern,

     

    Myself, the property manager had a sit down meeting with both ***** ***** and his mother (which is his co-signer) and discussed the complaint listed and issues at the property. After the discussion we came to the conclusion that both parties has some fault and we agreed to a $200 rental credit towards the towing bill that ***** ***** had received. Both parties agreed to this and have rectified the issue. ***** said he would be confirming the same conclusion to you as well. Please let me know if you need anything else from us to close out this complaint.
