I ordered a barn Door after the door had not come in for 3 months I called to cancel my order. The office worker told me they would get back to me. They never called. Now they have my $1015.00 and don't want to give me a refund.

    Business Response

    Date: 07/19/2022

Customer ************************* (address ******************************************************************** signed and made a deposit for her barndoor on July 28,2021. The customer called on September 7th for an update on the door and it was almost complete. Then on September 27th we scheduled for installation in her home for October 4th, 2021. The customer called October ****** to cancel her appointment, stating that she wanted to wait until she was able to collect more funding for the balance due at installation. She then waited until December 28,2022 to call back in to say she no longer wanted the door because she was selling her home. She asked for a refund. I explain to her the contract that she signed states that we will not refund deposit due to cancelation because it covers the material cost. We did not install the door, nor did we collect the balance due. She asked for **** to reach out to her when he was available. The next day, December 29,2021, the customer called in saying that she understood the that because the door was already made that the order could not be cancelled and that no refund could be given. She agreed to call it even and we closed out the account.
