    I did 1 star because I could not do zero.Initially the service seemed to be working out well and the price was very reasonable. I sent pictures and detailed instruction of what I wanted as I was not able to be there. I even told them where I would like to have the tree fall with pictures. They sent me photo and videos of the work and everything seemed good.Where it went wrong was once I showed up and inspected the work that so asked to be done vs what was done. It turns out they had the tree fall on the tree I asked them not to as I wanted that tree to be healthy and intact. The fall cause it to rip half the tree from itself. Now I need to get that tree removed for an additional cost.Another thing I asked them to make sure of what to remove the lights in the trees which were just 3 hooks that you would take the cable off of. When I arrived the lights were down and it ripped them apart and the guys twisted bare wires together and let them lay.None of the above was shared with me via any communication. In addition none of this were in the pictures they took. If they were I would not have paid them and for sure not that full amount.I contacted them once I saw this and asked them what they were going to do. They had if I wanted a refund and of course so said yes. Then we went back and forth on the refund. I stated what I thought was fair and asked for half as I would have to replace the lights and more importantly now cut down a 50 ft mature tree I was wanting to keep.We kept going back and forth on the price and they stated they could only do 1/4 refund as the drive an hour. However they were there for a free quote and asked then if they could cut it down and I said yes. The fact that they came an hour is not relevant as it was initially just for a free quote. Also, they severely damaged a tree I specifically asked them to remove the tree leaving on it and not damage the other. Lastly, they did not tell me or send photos of this damage.
