On June 16, 2020, BBB opened an investigation due to consumer reports that Mr. Jack Riley and his work crew show up at consumers’ homes with discounted leftover materials offering a "today only" price for asphalt work. Consumers allege that the asphalt work done is not professional or complete. Consumers also state, that checks are to be made out to Jack Riley, rather than a company name. BBB spoke to Mr. Riley on 6-30-2020, BBB confirmed that the address on file is not current. BBB was given a P.O. box address for Texas that leads to a UPS store. Mr. Riley reported to BBB that his business is headquartered in Texas, but he travels to other areas to work. On 7-1-2020, BBB again spoke to Mr. Riley who confirmed the UPS address information given to BBB was correct. Mr. Riley denied BBB's request for additional address information.
