I took my 2014 ***** Sonic to the Take 5 oil change on ******* a couple months ago for an oil change. I have already requested copies of my invoices but they have not gotten back to me yet but I paid about $70 for an oil change. Just days after I came off of Hwy 69 and my engine was knocking very bad. I managed to get it home and waited for it to cool down so I could check the oil. It was bone dry so I had to walk to go get oil and put it in and took it back to the ******* store again and they said that whoever did it did not put the oil plug back in right and all my oil had spewed out everywhere under the car. They said they fixed it and told me next oil change would be no charge so didnt think too much about it even though I know there could be permanent damage when driving it without oil and the engine did run a lot louder and rougher than it did. About a week or so after my oil light had come on and did not want to drive it all the way to the ******* store but the one on Coliseum had just opened and just down the road from me so I took it there. Again I had been driving with no oil in my car again. This time I was told that my oil plug has a gasket on it to keep it from leaking and that the last person to do my oil put it on without one. *** was super nice and did the oil again and put a gasket on the plug but my warning lights stayed on even after they were done and kept overheating to the point to where I couldnt drive. I had a certified mechanic come take a look at it for me and did a pressure test and the head gasket had already went bad from driving it so much without oil in it. I do have the invoice to when I went back to the Coliseum store and like I said I requested the one from ******* but they do have in their system right now that my next oil change is free. Ive had no transportation for weeks now and I feel they are responsible for it. I am starting with this complaint but may also retain a lawyer depending on the outcome. Thank you!
