      August 29, 2023 I went for annual eye exam. I explained I needed help with distance being out of focus and blurry. ************************ informed me I was on cusp of cataracts but thought new glasses would improve my vision. I said I did not want to spend $500 or more dollars on new glasses if it would not help my blurry vision. Would keep current glasses until I needed surgery for cataracts. She thought new glasses would help and if not come talk to her. New glasses were NO better than old glasses except my close up vision was a little clearer. When I went back to talk with her and let her know there was no improvement and I would like $585.48 refund for these glasses she informed me she could not refund because they were custom made! I reminded her it was my distance vision I wanted help with and these were no help. She kept saying she could show me there was improvement. I replied yes, a little in close vision but not distance like I requested. She then said she could not help that I paid that much money for new glasses. I said I bought right here in your office on her recommendation. She said they use quality products. I did send a letter to progressive eye care office and cc ***********. Response was no help. I will forward letters if you would like. I felt very misled about this expensive recommendation for new glasses to help with my distance vision and also very challenged that I took recommendation and bought glasses from her office. Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated. *****************
