**************** signed a legally binding contract on 8/31/23.  On 9/15/23 we received a letter from **************** wanting to cancel the services and not to contact his creditors.  This cancellation was beyond the three day time period for cancelling a contract ******* Law allows.  We had already contacted his creditors so it was too late to not contact them.  Those contacts went out on 9/1/23 the day after he contracted with us.  We are still willing to perform under the contract if he wishes to rescind his cancellation.

I did not sign papers but they went ahead and charged my credit card $7800. They not only misrepresented their services but the next day called and threatened to garnish my social security if I did not cooperate and sign with them. This is complicated an my identity has been stolen. They already had it.

      Business Response

      Date: 03/01/2024

She is correct that she did not sign the paperwork.  She is incorrect in saying that we charged her.  We did not charge her and that is confirmed by her in this complaint by saying that $0.00 is in dispute.  To say that we threatened to garnish her Social Security is absolutely not true.  First to do a garnishment we would have to had a Judgement against her.  Second, Social Security is protected from garnishment.  If I came to find out that this was true, I would do everything in my power to see that the employee was fired.  It did not happen.

I was contacted by **** of America that my credit card had been compromised and told I had to open a Barkleys credit card so and that the credit bureau had been contacted, I don't know who opened the credit card at ********* **** of America or the credit bureau, but I got the credit card and they transferred me to Financial Solutions Group, who then said it was not a secure line, so this Trinity ****** called me back about a 1/2 hour later and I was on the phone with her for hours. I have contacted the credit bureau myself and freezes put on my accounts. I am 69 years old and when I got the paperwork from Trinity it wanted me to sign over a durable power of attorney. After I have had time to calm down and do some research on this company it looks like a scam. I cannot afford to pay this ******* I am on social security and a small pension. Please help me or tell me what to do. Thank you. ***********************

Financial Solutions Group contacted me last November 11, 2022 to resolve debt I had assumed. I didnt reach out to them they reached out to me. They told me they could resolve my debt within 12 months or less and it would be deleted off my credit report. They said the fee would be $4538 and that would be taken from the credit I had left from Discover Card. They told me I wouldnt owe anything. They told me to stop making payments on my accounts at that time. I have now been turned over to collections on all the accounts. The case manager at Financial Solutions Group is Ally and the phone number that I provided used to go directly to her but now its customer service. **** told me that my debt negotiator was going to be a girl named ******* never got her # or ext.. She still has Not contacted me once. I have ********* Since June 25,2023 - September 26, 2023. Still to this day No Freaking Answer from this Freaking Person!!! I am so freaking angry because they told me I wouldn't have to pay anything. I have been trying to call **** to see what has been resolved with *********** and she wont take my calls or return my calls. The same with *******************. I feel I have been scammed and am ashamed that I was so gullible and stupid to go along with this to start with. I would like for them to return the $4538 they charged to the Discover card I had. I want it returned because they haven't done what they said they would do! These people are Con Artists!!

9/08/2023 Rec'd phone call from ***** Services" stating cc has been compromised; said I qualify for Freedom Debt Release; transferred to another who explained program; transferred to debt advisor @ Financial Solutions Group - so far I've been on phone for 1 1/2 hours. Program is explained - legal fees of $9990.00 will be charged but added to debt relief amount. Paperwork sent and signed. I was on phone for a total of 3 hours without a break to think calmly and rationally thinking this is a good thing. Later checked with my cc and found out there was NOT any fraudulent charge made or attempted on the card. This whole thing was predicated on a lie. I called Financial Solutions to tell them I'm not going to go ahead with this. Was told that I signed the paperwork so they will dispute my cancellation. If I need to get an attorney for this I will. I'm 74 and Social Security is my only income - during the 3 hour phone call I was not thinking clearly and panicking about my compromised cc. The whole thing started with a lie and manipulation.

I am happy to report that I did get my money back.  I received an email containing a release they wanted me to sign, after which they would refund my money.  The amount shown in the release was incorrect - I spoke with Trinity pointing out that fact.  She said she would need to speak with her supervisor to correct the document and would contact me again.  She never contacted me again, but the correct amount was refunded.  I guess that paperwork didn't matter - interesting.  I will never be that gullible again.  Thank you for your efforts.

I am 84 years old, therefore, I am in a protected class. It has come to my attention that my Discover card was charged $5000 in October 2022 by this company. I have no recollection of authorizing this company to charge my card. I have not received any service from them. I never signed anything. I never agreed to give them a durable power of attorney over my affairs. I would like them to refund the money to me.
