******* started a bathroom remodel. We had to let him go after the first week for the following issues. Do not hire for any work. His work is unsafe.Left electrical taped ******************* in wall behind drywall he hung.Took the **** outlet and disconnected the **** feed and feed it from the light fixture so it was no longer **** on a sink outlet.Left us on a Friday with no power to any **** outlets, had to hire an electrician to find the above issues behind the drywall.Cut the access hole for the shower valve so large we had to replace the entire surround because it could not be covered. This cost over $300 Used pliers to tighten the but spout completly scratching the metal and requiring us to buy a new shower set at over $200 Left all of the drain/vents uncovered letting dangerous gases fill our house.Added a second water supply for a new sink and it was leaking after he left.Found the bag of mounting hardware for tub and surrounds, had to remove everything to install those. Tub spout was almost a half inch from shower wall. Was told there was nothing he could do.

I wasn't finished with any of the work, I taped the electrical wires and we're not exposed and I was going to reconnect, as for the shower I wasn't aware there was any brackets so I screwed the shower assembly where the cutout are on the edges all the way around the tub, the s*** off valves were only temporary on because I had to take them off to install drywall. The customer never called me to clarify anythiyand just called a electrician and told me not to come back. They never reached out to tell me anything was wrong and just said they would have someone else finish the project. Nothing I did was ever a finished product besides the shower assembly, when I installed it there was no hope showing for the shower diverter. As for the tub spout they only make 6,8 inch piping and was trying to find another solution and once again that wasn't the final product either. I was never given a chance to fix anything so I don't believe the complaint is truthful.

I don't want to keep the complaint open.  I don't want anything from the contractor, I just want the complaint posted so other people can see his unsafe methods.  I don't want a back and forth with him.  What do I do.

This individual refinished my bathtub on October 7, 2022. I paid him $260 via Venmo. Less than 10 days later, the finish that he applied started peeling. I contacted **** to let him know and sent him a photo depicting the peeling finish. He said he would fix the issue but he never did. I recently contacted him to request a refund and he has not responded. I have attached a photo of the current state of my bathtub and proof of the Venmo transaction.

I had no way to contact this lady after changing phone numbers, she had my business inbox in which she never left me a voice or email about anything recent in the past 30days, this job was fine 6months ago and her bathtub starting peeling because of water and moisture which does not cover any work performed. The customer had a leaky faucet and I had a bag attached to catch water, its not my fault and Im definitely not responsible for any refund especially 6months later when the job was performed.  I offered to come over and redo bathtub free of any labor costs if she buy the refinishing kit and she denied that, so *** offered her a way to make this right and she chose not to.

This response is insufficient for the following reasons:

    (1)  I contacted the service professional via text and he did respond to me initially and then stopped.

    (2) The phone number I used is the same phone number still associated with his business profile and the phone number he has very recently communicated to potential customers on the Nextdoor platform.

    (3) If the service professional determined that a condition existed (e.g. dripping water) that would not allow the job to be done satisfactorily (i.e, so that it would not start peeling less than 10 days after it was done), then the service professional should have so advised me and recommended that the work not be done until that situation has been addressed.  This was not done in this case.

    Regards,
