  I found Double-Take Dobermans through a friend who had Dobermans and had discussed getting another one. She let me know about DTD and that they had one puppy left from a litter this past February. I contact Laura and we discussed buying this puppy. She was very straight forward, friendly and helpful. We came to terms and I met her at the vet where her ears were being cropped. We took her home that day at a bit over 7 weeks. It quickly became apparent that this puppy was unlike any of my 4 previous Dobermans. They were all smart. She is smarter. They were all athletic and protective. She is even more-so. She is also affectionate and bold. And beautiful. Since I have gotten her, Laura has been very responsive with any questions I have had. She has contacted me to see how everything was going with her multiple times. I have not hesitated to refer friends to her and I would not hesitate to return to her for my next Doberman. I highly recommend DTB. If my **** is any indication, their dogs are exceptional.

  In November 2022 I had the pleasure of working with DoubleTake Doberman's and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Right from the first interaction, Laura's warmth and genuine love for her Dobermans was evident. She took the time to understand what I was looking for in a service puppy and patiently answered all my questions. It was clear that she was not just a breeder, but a true enthusiast and expert in the breed. One of the standout aspects of DoubleTake Doberman's was the temperament of their dogs, particularly Levi, the puppy I eventually was paired with. From the moment I met him, I was struck by his calm and friendly nature. Levi was well-socialized and confident, which is a testament to the care and attention he received from Laura during his early days. Throughout the entire process, Laura was incredibly communicative. She provided regular updates on Levi's growth and development, sharing photos and videos that made the wait for his arrival even more exciting. Her attention to detail and willingness to address any concerns or queries I had was truly impressive. When the day finally came to bring Levi home, Laura ensured that everything went smoothly. She provided detailed instructions on how to care for him, including a tutorial on ear posting. It was evident that she genuinely cared about the well-being of her puppies and wanted to set them up for success in their new homes. I cannot thank Laura enough for the wonderful experience I had. Not only did I find a perfect prospect in Levi (who is now an amazing service dog), but I also gained a valuable friendship with a breeder who truly goes above and beyond.   PERFECTION!!! And of course that starts with the breeder. My husband and I actually turned down several breeders before we found Laura..DOUBLE TAKE DOBERMANS. I believe I turned down SIX puppies before I met Laura. This puppy aka ********. is awesome!! He’s not quite 5 months old and he knows sit down stay heel and can even off leash heeling as well as absolutely beautiful! Laura is a FANTASTIC breeder. Even my vet brags about his lineage. A professional trainer said Laura is to be commended on her breeding program. Just EXCELLENT…Laura is very very knowledgeable. When a vet brags and trainers brag about his lineage and people stop us every time we go out to ***** ***** **** *** ******** and many places and they all want to know where did he come from you KNOW Laura produces nothing but the BEST!!!!

  We’ve had our puppy just over two weeks now and we could not be happier. We had been researching various breeders for the past couple of months and after communicating with Laura we knew this is where we wanted to get our pup from. From day one Laura was amazing with immediately answering all of our questions. We were brand new at ear cropping and Laura made us feel so comfortable. She showed us step by step how to do it and also provided us with a list of supplies needed. Even when we had some failed attempts at home, she was immediately available by text or phone to help provide us with guidance and tips and reassured us we would get the hang of it. It is undeniable that her love for these puppies do not leave once you take the puppy home, but continues on when you take them home.

  About 1 month ago we started searching for A Doberman puppy. The experience wasn’t one our best ones. Breeders not returning messages or not wanted to give any information. We finally contacted Laura and in a week we had our new puppy. She was super in answering all our questions and helped us arrange transport to MA. She was really great to work with and stayed in touch to answer any concerns. We love our new puppy and can’t thank Laura enough for her attention. Thank again. ****

  Lucky to find Double Take Doberman. Laura was great to work with. A lot to learn about a Doberman pup. She goes way beyond what was expected. Appreciate her help with his ears. Love my dog! Great disposition! Very nice looking dog!

  Fantastic and we'll bred dogs. I recently acquired mine as a service puppy prospect and she's been meeting and exceeding goals. The breeder has provided extensive knowledge and help on the breed as well which has aided tremendously in the puppy's development!

  I got my very first Doberman from Laura and it was also the first time I went through a breeder to get a dog. She was very happy to answer any questions I had and very knowledgeable about the breed. My boy is now 2 years old and she checks in with her past litters to see how they’re doing and I really appreciate that kind of care and support for her dogs and their litters. She’s always will to provide tips and even lend a hand, I’ve never posted ears before and her help was so valuable. She clearly puts all her effort and love into this breed and it shows through in the temperament, health, and beauty of their dogs. I received my boy’s AKC paperwork and all health testing and shots records when I picked him up. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience with getting Mugen, best dog I’ve ever had!

  Best breeder I have ever worked with. I was able to go visit and pick my puppy and received pictures until she was ready to come home. ******** is now 4 years old. She is so sweet and calm. Very easy to train. No health issues. I highly recommend Double-Take Dobermans. Very knowledgeable of the breed and happy to answer any questions I have even years later.

  We are so blessed to have found Double-Take after losing our 9 year old Dobie this summer. We welcomed our firecracker ********* in to our family in August and brought sweet George home 2 months later. Laura has given me so much guidance and you can tell she truly cares. I felt so comfortable after talking to her at length on the phone that I was willing to drive 9 hours alone to meet her and get our first pup. She walked me thru posting the ears since it has been several years since I has done it and provided me guidance and resources once home until I got the hang of it. She has dealt with my panicky texts and calls and never made me feel bad about bothering her. Thank you for providing us with guidance, sharing your knowledge, and breeding quality puppies that bring us joy everyday!!
