    Location: Storyboard on Hayden *********** ***************************************************************************** We were not allowed to see the apartment until after it was cleaned and it cost us $400 to hold the apartment. The cleaning day was on Sunday and we couldn&#**;t get in to it. When we went in there everything was filthy, water downstairs toilet was continually running, front door looks like it was kicked in, trash out front and the apartment was just filthy. The first month&#**;s rent was $1,345.00. Now I have to go to another place and do this all over again. I want all of my money back - first month&#**;s rent- $1345.00, $400 downpayment, money back on electric and water and out of this lease and I want to get my stuff out of there.

    Mr. ****** chose to pay an application and administrative fee to secure an apartment, despite being unavailable to tour it beforehand. We have refunded all the money he paid us, including the application fee, administrative fee, and first month's rent. He picked up the check in person at our office. He retrieved all of his personal items and the lease was not executed.

    I’m convinced this “management company” is just two trust fund kids with no idea what they are doing. I applied with my husband on 9/06/2022 for a unit they said would be available on the 15th. My apartment had been flooding due to old pipes breaking and i had to move ASAP. I was never contacted after applying and called twice a week every week to ask what was going on. Each time I was told that management would call me “today for sure” and even “you’ll get a call in a few minutes”. As the weeks went on I was told by the front desk the move in date would be the 23rd which was no problem for me but I still had not been contacted regarding my application and it had been over 2 weeks. I even emailed but got no reply. In my email I pleaded with them to at least tell me what was going on so that I could book an Airbnb in the mean time if I needed. This went on up until the 20th, I begged to put a deposit down and only asked for transparency because I had to move out in 3 days(my credit and income are both great) so in my mind I just trusted them they’d get around to my lease. In the 4 weeks since my application I never once received a call or email, not ONE call or email. They just have no regard for people. All I asked for was transparency but every time I called I was given empty promises. I am so lucky they didn’t call me because I’m now at ******* ******** (much much nicer) and you know what the leasing agent told me when I told her about the nightmare that is “Tutandtut”…..she said “which company was it?” I said “tutandtut” and she said “oh yeah they did that to me too, never called back until 5 weeks later. They’re known for being the worst rental company in our area”. I am so lucky I found something in time but wow did you all have zero human decency. To string people along when they are begging for transparency is unacceptable. It’s now the 25th, two days after our “move in date” and still not ONE CALL OR EMAIL. Do not rent for them!

    The person that filed the complaint, ****** ***** did not apply for an apartment as instructed. Only her husband did. On our rental application form and everywhere else we state all individuals over 18 must apply.
