    I am filing this complaint against Kwik Serv HVAC due to a serious issue involving negligence, improper installation, and complete lack of accountability.A technician named ****** came to service my air conditioner. He appeared unprepared and uncertain about the work. He ultimately installed the wrong partdespite the fact that my original part was still under warranty. To make matters worse, they threw out the original part, removing my ability to claim that warranty at all.After realizing their error, I contacted the company and spoke with a person named ***** who claimed to be the manager. He admitted they installed the incorrect part and assured me the situation would be rectified. However, after several back-and-forths, he suddenly changed his position and refused to correct their mistake. His behavior was unprofessional and inconsistentI truly doubt he was a legitimate manager.Given their refusal to take responsibility for their admitted error, I had no choice but to dispute the charge with my credit card company. Ive never experienced such careless and dishonest service. The company showed zero integrity and made an already frustrating situation much worse.Desired Resolution:I am seeking a full refund for the improper installation and the cost of the part that was incorrectly used. Also to be paid back for the new company that rectified their mistake Which cost me $350 Additionally, I request formal acknowledgment that the original warranty was voided due to their actions, so I may provide that to the manufacturer if necessary.I am sharing this complaint with the BBB to warn others and to document the unprofessional conduct and clear breach of trust I experienced with Kwik Serv.

    We sent her explaining that we did install proper capacitor and that the picture she sent confirmed it. By then she had already cancelled her credit card charge and start demanding we give her old cap back so she can send it in for warranty? There was no warranty on the cap I explained. To recap, our tech wanted to replace both condenser caps and she only let us replace one for the newer unit servicing the first floor. She couldn't get a hold of us so she had another company out and they put a bigger one in she said. I confirmed we installed the correct rated one for that unit.

    They misdiagnosed my dysfunctional heating system and when a different company diagnosed it as a fire hazard they tried to make me pay an additional fee for them to come reassess it and refused to waive the fee after knowing their technician did not do due diligence and left me with a furnace continuing to not work. They are liable for any damages that my furnace and home may have in between the time they misdiagnosed and refused to reassess without further payment and the time it takes to get it fixed and replaced and they still do not care. ***** company that seems fraudulent.

    UNETHICAL PRACTICE AND DISCRIMINATION BASED ON PAYMENT FORM BY **************************. Admitted and acknowledged by business owner in person. The owner of this company just told me and my husband over the phone, in front of his employee *****, that not only he was cancelling the appointment I waited for 10 just 10 minutes before arrival time, but also putting me back at the end of the line because he wouldnt move me in front of his other customers or re-book them since they were paying him more and my appointment was through warranty. The cacelation was due to ue to safety/ weather, which is understandable, but adding me to the end of line when I was the first and due in 10 minutes, is not. The reason presented for that appalled me. In his own words: he would not "prioritize someone like me over 15 year old customers who pay him much more than warranty compnies, and warranti compnies know that's how we work". This is the most unethical thing I have seen a vendor not only do, but admit to it and claim, "I'm the owner, I decide who to service and this is how the industry is". This was his reaction to me begging to please honor the appointment because my kids and I could not go without AC for any longer and please honor my place in line.

As a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of both our employees and customers, we needed to reschedule appointments. We understand the urgency of your situation and sincerely apologize for any distress this caused.

    Our aim is to provide the best service to all our customers, and sometimes these difficult decisions need to be made in challenging circumstances. We did try to keep our appointments in an order that was fair to both the ones that needed to be rescheduled and the ones that were already scheduled.
