I was overcharged for enrollment. At the time of registering, I was asked to pay $300 verbally. I signed a contract stating that, "Per letter H "At no time will this fee exceed $150". I did not sign off on anything in this contract stating I should pay the $300 that I was charged. I was overcharged. When I confronted Mrs. ***** about this via email, she responded "Im sorry you are misunderstanding. Our required deposit for the *** program is $300.00 your registration fee is $150". When I responded "Can you show me in writing per point H of the contract. Again, I was over charged." she did not respond or provide valid proof for her taking an additional $150.I did not attend the schooling and was sure to withdraw literally 72 hours later. The school still holds $150 of my money.

      Hi

Please be advised that it was explained to the student that her deposit was $300 as listed on our flyer which includes the $150 registration fee. Due to her withdrawing, $150 of the $300.00 deposit was refunded to her as the policy states the $150.00 registration fee is non refundable. The deposit portion was given back to the student already. She now is seeking to retrieve monies that rightfully belong to the school for prepping for her to start but she withdrew.

I am rejecting this response because: I withdrew within ******************************************************************** registering/ withdrawing so ****. Again it was never written anywhere, not even a flyer, of a $300 fee. I was overcharged and per the contract, I should not have been charged more than what was written in the contract that I have, which does not state anywhere $300.

      Sincerely,

      Hi

Please beadvised that I did call in to receive help with this matter as the sytem was not allowing me to add a reposnes here.

The above student dropped the course after she failed to pick up her book on multiple occassions. She did receive a response to the email that she sent on 3-31-2024 on 4-1-2024. She did not ask for assistance regardingher quiz, she asked to be dropped from the course and threatened to sue.  The student also attempted to re enroll with us after the fact. No request for refund was properly received. All students are provided a copy of the refund policy upon enrollment. She indeed spoke with myself (program coordinator)

10/27/2022 around 9pm. My teacher Ebony Scott got upset with me because I didnt properly understand what she was saying and asked if she could explain more then once. She misunderstood what I was asking and got frustrated with repeating her answer and felt I was challenging her. I said nevermind to the situation because I became embarrassed in front of the class, which she often tries to do to people. Classmates asked me questions on the side and she heard me explaining to them what I meant and then asked me what is it Im not getting. I then tried to explain, she still didnt get it and drove me to say nevermind due to me feeling embarrassed again and not wanting to cause conflict. My classmate by me made a comment saying this a treating session in regards to how she felt the teacher was treating me and I said right. The teacher asked both of us to leave in my opinion due to my classmates question and denied it. She said because I challenged her. I disagreed and stayed asking her what did I do and told her my class was fully funded for me to be there. I was there to learn. she told me she dont have to explain her next move. I disagreed and at the pony wanted to wait til she called the police so I can save myself with a statement. On the real reason she wanted me to leave. She didnt do that she had her boyfriend come up there in a very hard tone threatening me to leave. At this point was scared but still stood my ground. He eventually called the police a report was made and the police disagreed with her decision. I was denied finishing my almost done course that ends next week due to her ego. Numerous of students believes she talks in a sarcastic way and makes people not want to come to her. Everybody in the class is barely passing because shes so focused on being strict then being a teacher. She told me if she says it once thats enough. 6 weeks cna class crammed with millions of things to learn. I was treated unfairly and her business needs to be handled.

It is with great regret that we have to repsond to a complaint regarding this matter. ***************************, the ***** lady involved was very disrespectful in the classroom but also could not be redirected.  She disagreed with my method of checking a person's pulse. Even after I explained to her that we would end up with the same thing at the end of the 30 seconds she continuously challenged me to the point of disrespect and use of profanity. To a degree a healthy challenge to a skills builds students up but with ***************** this is not the case. She allowed another young lady to instigate the situation further to the point that they both were asked to leave for the night so that the other 10 students could get thier turn doing vitals. The one young lady left. ****************** continued to say things outloud that were not very becoming of a heealthcare profssional in front of of her peers in an aggressive manner. After I asked her multiple times to leave, she finally told me she" wasn't going no where because she paid for this class."

We have not received any money for this student. We have provided her with uniforms, books. supplies even. I will not be turning in a voucher for payment and she cannot return to Scott School of Careers now or in the future. The voucher has been voided and returned to the state agency that referred her over to the program. Our handbook is very specific about disrespectful behavior and the fact that it will not be tolerated. Each night she has had an issue but that particular night it was absolutely horrid. I did my best here. I am very lenient and try to cheer the students on in a positve way.

Scott School of Careers has a duty to uphold a certain standard when it comes to the product that we try to help matriculate into the healthcare arena.  ****************** does not currently exemplify those values we wish to uphold. We wish her the best of luck in her future endeavors.

I am rejecting this response because: Ms.Scott is not fully saying the correct information. None of students in the classroom agrees with her or her decision to make me leave. The officers are the ones who told me to file a complaint against her because they disagreed with her as well. I will upload the police report as soon as I get it. This is the reason I stayed because I wanted her to explain her reason to the police to get it in a report. She never once called the police. It was her boyfriend which I will soon make a report on him and have him arrested. We were going back and forth because she did not understand my question. Which we're done and she was going to proceed teaching after I told her never mind for the 5th time. Then the comment was made. The comment the other girl made triggered her into asking me to leave and then I stated that I was not leaving due to you being mad at somewhere else. The girl will tell she left because her comment was wrong and that's the part the class agreed with. Not anything to do with me. If she felt i was a negative person she would have been dropped me from this class. The class was paid for and ended the following week, so it was no time to makeup anything. I got upset even more when she brought her boyfriend up there to threat me which she has yet to address in this response or anywhere else. The transcripts are inaccurate due to it missing my score from the lecture 9 quiz. I also asked her for the passing of my pulse and respiration which she did not upload as well because it would validate my point. I passed my respirations and pulse before I was asked to leave so why would 3 seconds matter in the question i was asking. Which was "Does a pulse count change if you count behind someone? " to get an accurate count for future references. Each healthcare worker stated that pulses does change within time and if my teacher is grading me on something we should start at the same time. I want the certificate I deserve as well. My career coach reached out to her as to accepting the check and giving my certificate and she denied because I made a claim not because I did not deserve. As far as you feeling like some of my actions were inappropriate as a healthcare worker, I could questions hers. She told us personal business about her two ex husbands and about the boyfriend she doubt she will marry. This is how i know her boyfriend does not own any part of the school because the school name is from her ex husband. But yet she shared this with the police. So let's not me judge here due to you doing things to get me upset. I have many witnesses who will speak in my defense including the officers and majority of the students.
      Sincerely,
