    Date of Service :01/29/2024 In Store Order # P69933156 Customer # RM ************** Store #***, ********, ** On 01/29/2024, I went to the BatteriesPlus store in ********, ** and advised the store employee I requested a new key fob for a vehicle recently purchased, which came with only one key fob. I also advised the employee of the ****** Recall on the ****** Key Fob for the 2020 ****** Rogue. At this time the employee conducted the transaction and I awaited him to program my new key fob. The employee came back into the store and advised me the new fob was defective and would not take the programing. He further advised he would need to order a different fob, which would be about a week. After leaving the store, I discovered original key fob was deactivated. I notified the store, returned where they told me they could not reactivate the fob without the new fob. I returned the following Monday (02/05/2024) upon learning the new fob had arrived. At this time, the person who identified himself as the store manager programed the new fob. He advised he was unable reprogram the the original key fob from ****** due to the modification done by ****** as part of the Recall. I advised him I had come in with a working key fob and this company disabled it. I told him I want a working key fob. He stated he could not do that, but would contact "higher ***** To date, he has not contacted me about a replacement. I contacted the parent company via their "contact us" section of their website, and to date have not been contacted. I went in to the store with a fully functional key fob, purchased a new key fob, the company disabled my original factory key fob and refuses to replace it.
