1 starWorst experience ever. I bought a factory reman transmission for my 06 Ram ****. It imploded just ****** miles later. I asked for a refund they said ok but we need our unit back. So transmission shop removed it. They came and picked it up and didn't leave a core. They eventually sent one days later and it literally was just a shell with no parts in it. So we're now back to square one with no replacement and no refund still. This all stared Dec 6th 2022 its currently its Dec 29th with no answers 2022. My representative at extension #**** doesn't keep in the loop. This has costed me thousands of dollars at this point not being able to work.Review fromJohn O

2 starsThey will charge you for warranty without asking whether you want it or not. if you question why, one of the answers is you should have told us you don't need the warranty as if it is compulsory you must buy one. The prices are not consistent, it depends on who the cashier is, and probably whether she likes your face or not (not Latino concern). Last time I bought a fender there, warranty was added. I was wondering why did it cost so much, it was when I was going through my receipt that I saw the warranty add on cost, I went right back and asked why, the reply was you should have told me you don't want a warranty, then I said you did not ask me, she told me well I have stepped out into the parking lot and there is nothing she can do. So, I said I want to return the item, before she finally removed the warranty charge of over $20. Why would I need a warranty for body part: if it's good, it's good! So be aware you of this practice.Review fromJerry S

1 starAbsolutely the worst place to get parts. Run. Don't walk from this company. Ordered transmission and transfer case for an Explorer. What was sent to me was those parts for a **** Edge. Started the return process a week ago. I returned the transfer case myself because it was small enough to fit into my other vehicle. Drove to the warehouse to exchange and the one for the exchange they had tagged as for an Explorer was ALSO for an Edge. Decided to return the transfer case and transmission right then. Sourced a different part from another company while waiting for the return to be initiated. This was a week ago. I was promised a week ago that the transmission (sitting on a pallet and too heavy for me to pick up) would be picked up by a driver "tomorrow". I've called each day since then and was assured that it would be "tomorrow". Finally contacted the "Sales Manager" and was again told "tomorrow". It is BEYOND RIDICULOUS that it takes a week to pick up the part especially when the warehouse is 10 minutes away. IT is also UNACCEPTABLE that the part is on a list and not getting picked up and that "dispatch" cannot call a driver and make sure that they swing by the shop and pick up the part. The ONLY honest and competent person I've dealt with is the guy in the warehouse who took my transfer case.1) Don't know what parts they have (labeled wrong in their system)2) Sales people are clueless 3) Return process is ridiculously long 4) Dishonest reps at every stage of the process Again. Run. Don't walk away from this shady company. This company gets ZERO stars from me. But I have to give it at least one star to post this review.Review fromAndrew L.

1 starI bought a new used tire 11/19/2022 (2:17pm) paid $21.71 , $3 for entry and $3 for a tire break service included. When I take it to the tire shop to have it mounted to the they tell me the tire is bad. I go back to pick part trade in the tire pay the $3 entry fee and another "tire break fee" I remove another rim from a car get another tire take it to the tire shop they tell me again the tire is bad I drive back to pick a part the next day pay the $3 "entry fee" find a really nice Tire almost brand new. I remove the tire from the car roll the wheel up to the front and pay a 3rd $3 "tire break service fee". I then watch in horror as the employee carelessly operates the machine and punctures a hole in sidewall of the tire after speaking to the manager about what just happened and took place he offered me a refund for my tire that was defective I thought that's what the warranty was for so here I am wasted a whole week driving back and forth from tire shop to pick apart to home wasting time money and gas one employee stated antagonistically "you should have just bought a new tire". I should have, i still don't have a tire i list nonrefundable money and I've lost the time spent driving back and forth from 11/19/22 when i made the purchase to present 12/16/22 (2:****) I know now for my peace of mind and time I'm going to spend the extra money and buy my parts brand new what a horrible day the day that I say I cannot come back to this Pick-A-Part because it takes my peace of mind away and wastes my time and I ended up spending more money.Review fromDan C

1 starI ordered a used transmission, with a year warranty, for my car and when the installing shop put it in, it leaked immediately!!! My mechanic was able to remove a part from my failed transmission so we wouldn't have to send the whole thing back to them and then wait 3 weeks again for a replacement. He had to partially remove their transmission in order to install the part from my unit. The book cost for the work would have been over $300 but my mechanic was able to do it for $187.00. Besides this savings, this saved the company several hundreds of dollars over what it would have cost them to send a replacement. All I asked for was to be reimbursed for the extra work needed.I emailed them several times with virtually no response other than wanting pictures of the damaged part, which I sent right away. I am tired of emailing them and getting no response! I will have to eat the extra charge from the shop for this.DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!Review fromPatricio V

1 starI bought a refurbished engine from LKQ, that started leaking oil from three different spots right after installation. It took forever to make their warranty pay for the repairs. 10 months later the engine died. Their warranty is for one year or ***** miles. I had driven more than that, so unfortunately I lost the $9000 I put into the engine + installation and lost my car. Do not do business with LKQ!!Review fromKHALIA D

1 starWe are a well established automotive repair shop. We recently installed an ATK/Spartan remanufactured long block in a customer vehicle. Upon first startup the engine began leaking oil from the rear main seal. It took days to receive an initial response from the warranty provider (LKQ ************************** We provided a diagnostic report, repair estimate and pictures. It then took days to receive authorization to replace the rear main seal assembly. After receiving repair authorization and having completed the authorized repairs LKQ ************************ lost the documents and we had to resubmit the diagnostic report, repair estimate and pictures yet again. LKQ ************************ would not respond to our emails and status requests. We had to place several phone calls to their customer ********************** line in order to finally get a status update. LKQ ************************ took nearly two weeks to remit payment. When we received their check they shorted us $130 from the approved up-front estimate. Worst warranty experience we have ever had. We would give them zero stars if the system permitted.Review fromjose s

1 starWas sold a Focus DCT6. It was sold missing the **** We are a high volume center, and it was received and not checked. When we gave LKQ the opportunity to make it right, we were met with a less than helpful staff that now will refuse to communicate or help in any way. I have had bad interactions with this company before, but I gave them another chance. As a rule, we never use used parts to start with, but there are some situations where we need to do that for a customer. This is one transaction I wish I could just take back!! We will lose the cost of the transmission and the time spent.
