    I contracted with the Kroc Center in Chicago for line dance classes. I prepaid on May 22, 2025 for classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11am with a specific instructor as listed on their website. I selected this class specifically for this particular instructor. These classes were scheduled to begin on June 3, 2025.Upon arrival on June 3rd to the Kroc Center, I was made aware that a different instructor was teaching these classes that I had selected and prepaid. The Kroc Center refused a refund citing cancellation must occur before the class commences, meaning before June 3rd.The Kroc Center, however, failed to provide any prior notification that the instructor had been changed. Hence, there was no opportunity to cancel before June 3rd.

    I paid 50 dollars for a beginner swim class on 7 March 2024. Class was to start on Monday, 15 Apr 2024 for five weeks every Monday. On Tues 2 Apr 2024 I had a emergency appointment at the Dentist for teeth root pains. On 4 April 2024, I tried to cancel the swim class because of uncertainly of my teeth problem. I was told I had to talk to ***** the swim instructor and i did and told him the situation. ***** said I should be fine with having dental work while swimming, because he also had dental work done while swimming. That wasn't good enough for me so I told him I'd have to call my dentist and i did and he said it was up to me and what i was comfortable with since my work was to be done on 16 April 2024. So I said i'd take the class cause he was adamant about me dropping the class for some reason. On 22 Apr 2024, I was feeling pain in the nerves of my gums during class so I left. I went to the desk to speak with management. I spoke to a man name ** and explained everything to him. He understood and said he would deducted one class from the five i paid for and return it to my credit card in three days. He hasn't returned my funds.

    I applied for a hardship with this Facility, when I call or go to this place to ask the update, Im always getting the run around, ****** seems to know anything, I emailed one of the managers no response

    The Kroc Center asked members to donate new toys for kids in need during the Christmas Holiday and in return we would get a one day pass for each toy we donated. I donated 3 expensive toys for three passes. I acquired the passes for my daughter who is in the Military and she was deployed to ****. So, she said she would use the passes when she returned home. However, when she wanted to redeem the passes so she could use the inside walking track, the track was closed due to the fumes from the new Gym Floor. The passes expired on January 31, 2024. I asked ******* the Clerk at the desk if she could extend the passes since she was trying to use them before the passes expired. ******* was very nasty and rude as usual. She refused to extend the passes and I don't think it is right because now my daughter has been deployed again and won't return home until April. She is in the United *********** Reserves and is training to protect our Country and the least ******* could have did was ***** the extension on her three passes. I am a member of the Kroc Center and I persuaded 3 other people to join the Kroc Center. I want this matter resolved because it was not our fault that they shut down the walking track and the Gym. My daughter wanted to try out the Kroc Center because she was considering joining. That is why I donated the toys and got the passes for her. ******* is very rude to lots of people and should not be allowed to deal with people, Everyone else at the Kroc Center have very pleasant attitudes.
