1 starThey will not communicate, totally ignoring me for a claim. Fwd: Please respond from 2 26 25/ 3 11 25 ATT Jeff MB Mark B 4/13/2025 5:30 PM To statefarmfireclaims@statefarm ****************** Jose. After many attempts to find out what to do with the money I have received from Statefarm for fire damage with no response. I am going to do what ever I want to with it. If that is not acceptable to you then tell me now, not after it is spent. So this is your chance to tell me if I can't use the money for what ever I want to do with it.- Date: 03/18/2025 5:18 PM EDT Subject: Fwd: Please respond from 2 26 25/ 3 11 25 ATT Jeff I just informed Jose that if you guys will not give me an answer that I will go through BBB to have you answer my question below. They have a very easy complaint procedure that I have used in the past against A** ********* successfully. Thanks for doing things the hard way. I hope Statefarm will be pleased with you for having a BBB complaint because you refuse to answer a simple question. Work with S****** or find another contractor.- Date: 03/11/2025 2:37 PM EDT Subject: Fwd: Please respond from 2 26 25 Hi Jose I did not get a response to my questions on 2 26 25. I think my contract with Statefarm says that if I don't do any work on structural repairs no further money will be released to me for structural repairs. So again I ask. Just to be clear are those the only two options and what happens if I don't pick either?- Date: 02/26/2025 Hi Jose I am replying to your call on 2 24 25. You stated that I would have to work with S****** or find another contractor. Just to be clear are those the only two options and what happens if I don't pick either? Enclosed is a copy of your call to me.Review fromDennis R

1 starWorst company. After approving a claim and telling me to get my vehicle fixed, they only sent partial payment and gave no reasoning as to why they won't pay the claim out. Customer service is awful. I was actually told I could not speak to anyone else about my claim. There simply is no one else to speak to. They shouldn't be able to approve and tell the customer to get the work done and then not pay the approved claim.Review fromScott B

1 starI was rear ended and not at fault. My agent Ted Wilder in Wake Forest, NC, wouldn’t help me with my claim and left me to go after the other company on my own. Thanks to him, I got nothing when I should have gotten a settlement. Also, he encouraged me to double bill their insurance and my medical policy coverage, which is at very least unethical and probably illegal.Review fromjeff a

1 starI drove for U*** from 2020 to 2025. I went with State Farm insurance through Monica Edwards in Albuquerque for probably 3 years or so. Not many companies cover rideshare insurance and it is very pricey. I was paying over 300 a month, sometimes close to 400. My car failed an U*** inspection in 2025 and it seemed beyond spending thousands to bring it up to speed though it still drives fine. I informed Monica a couple weeks in advance by messenger that I needed to downsize my policy. She chose to ignore this and tried to bill me for 320 dollars for my next monthly payment. Not U*** driving any longer cut into my income, and I obviously wasn't going to pay for exhorbitant rideshare insurance while no longer doing rideshare. I was late on my payment, but within a 10 day grace period. She warned me that my payment of 320 was overdue and I reiterated to her that I was no longer paying that amount. Eventually she texted me that she had reduced my coverage. I went to the app to pay but it still demanded 320 dollars. I decided to get with a different state farm agent locally. They claimed that they just needed to wait for approval from corporate. So I was stalled. On the last day before my insurance would be cut off and I assume I would incur late fees, I just went with another company. Greedy weirdos playing legally questionable head games. I am done with state farm.Review fromKem G

1 starThe incident took place on January 8, 2025. A State Farm insured slammed into the back of my vehicle. The police we called out, insurance and pictures were taken. The claim adjusters are "pathetic in character, knowledge, and integrity," making the entire experience lengthy, horrific, exhausting, and downright unprofessional. As of today, April 11, 2025, the claim has not been finalized. That alone is a pitiful work ethic and lack of consideration. Initially, I was assigned to Kyren J******. From the moment I spoke with Kyren, I was on a continual pursuit to get an update. Anything that he said, he never followed through with, not a single action. From January 8 - March 4, all adjusters that I spoke with were nonresponsive, incompetent regarding State Farm and/or industry policies. I was sent a link to take pictures of the, I took pictures and sent them back. Tanesha and the manager, Darnell, acknowledged the reception of those pictures. Ms. Tanasha was involved for only a quick minute reviewing everything and paying out on the injury side of the claim. She operated with Class, Ease, professionalism, and empathy. Within 3 days of Tanesha being involved, she handled this claim according to the standards of the industry. Hence, the day I followed through with the photos from State Farm's link and Tanesha called and finalized her personal injury side of this claim, absolutely nothing has been done. Pictures were requested from Kyren J******, unprofessional pictures that he asked me to take. A link was sent for pictures, I took pictures. They sent me to C****** to obtain an estimate, and I submitted. I was sent to Crash Champion, who rejected my car 3 times, and sent to Caliber Collision received an estimate submitted. As of 4/10/2025, I spoke to the 4th person and they attempted to start this process over, stating they need photos of the vehicle. Today is 4/11/2025 and no calls, no results from State Farm Insurance.Review fromChristian M

1 starI have been a customer of State Farm for 40 years. They used to say like a good neighbor , well I don't need a neighbor like they are. They made an honest mistake and refuse to fix it and make it right now.I have to file a lawsuit, I find it appalling after being a customer for forty years to find the way they actually treat people. I literally gave them about eight thousand dollars last year, and it means nothing. My son just moved out of the house, and I told him to get State Farm on his place. Well, now, I'm going to tell them to go with the cheapest company because State Farm has become just as bad as the low life companies. They used to be a reputable insurance company and I did not mind spending extra Because I was under the impression that they would be there for me. But apparently I was wrong.
