    I applied for a $1795 3br apt 9/20/23 (App fee: $50 paid by cc). Mgt called me & said it wouldnt be avail until at least Oct 1 (I said OK). She said she would see if she could show me the unit While the residents are living there. I said, OK but that I would like to see it when its VACANT (So I can get more of a feel for what it looks like / the space, and the condition of the ******* ***** seemed to switch her tune & then SURPRISINGLY and unfairly demanded (requested) nearly a $2000 (Technically $1800) Security Deposit to even LOOK at and/or HOLD the place! I said, What?! I looked into this legally, & a sec deposit should not be given until a lease is SIGNED, & yet I hadnt even SEEN the place! She then tried to say that she couldnt hold it for me if I didnt pay the nearly $2000! (I said, ****, I filled out your APP & PAID for the app, & was FULLY APPROVED I want to SEE the unit before paying a sec deposit!) She then proceeded to say that they would give it to another client if another client offered to pay the nearly $2000 sec deposit before even seeing the unit! I was FIRST in LINE - I PAID to see / hold this unit w/the app and its fees! It is WRONG to try and weasel a sec deposit out of me; let alone, a nearly $2000 one, BEFORE I have even signed a lease; let alone, had a chance to see the place! AND to see the place EMPTY / VACANT! This is NOT right. She said, Oh, well just return your $ if someone else gives us a sec deposit 1st! ??DESIRE: To physically SEE the apt FIRST (Since I paid AND was fully approved FIRST before ANY one else) & THEN decide whether I want to rent it!??I will consider REMOVING this review when FAIR practices are conducted, and I can physically SEE this unit, VACANT, & decide if I want to rent it! (Again, I was / am FIRST in line - I PAID & was fully APPROVED FIRST). Note: I do NOT drink, smoke, or use drugs of ANY kind, nor do I have ANY pets.I have PERFECT credit - Nearly an 800 ********* have been FULLY approved $600,000 to buy a HOME! I simply want to save some money & move into this STUDIO apt until I find a home!

    Hello, it was my understanding that this issue with ***** *** has been resolved. She was approved and when the property became vacant, we contacted her to let her know that she could look at the property and if she wanted to move forward, we would get her in after a though clean up. She was unable to move forward because the availability would not work for her.
