    The staff's billing practices are shady. they need to be investigated by the state auditor. they charge your credit card without permission. then they call you and harass you every week to pay a $10 bill. I then tried to pay the $10 bill over the phone and they said they're going to charge me a service fee for using my credit card. so then I drove all the way out there to pay the $10 in cash and the gate house was closed when it should have been open according to the hours. so I drive up to the main building and see three staff members standing outside smoking vaping. so I asked him I'm here to pay $10 so I don't continually get harassed and they just looked at me didn't say anything started walking back into the building and fingered me. I would like to be contacted by the owner not the staff.

    Tell us why here...In regard to the complaint filed,

    Cuttys had an employee appreciation dinner on 8/21/25. We did close our gatehouse early so the employees that work there could be included. There were signs explaining the reason for the early closure. The complainant came to the clubhouse where the appreciation dinner was happening. There were three employees outside doing as he said. He wanted to pay his $10 bill. One employee said that he could come inside, and she would take care of it. He would not come inside and walked away cussing and threatening an attorney. At that time one employee put her hand up in gesture that she was done talking when he threatened an attorney and they walked back inside to tell their superior what happened. As for our credit card practices, we do not charge peoples credit cards without permission. We do not keep credit card numbers on file and would need to call the member for payment of any kind. We do offer a 3% cash discount, when using a credit card a 3% cost of card acceptance is included.This was communicated to the membership when it took effect 2 years ago.  I have tried to look up the complainant on our system and dont see that he is even a member of Cuttys. He may be a significant other of a member, but I cant address this issue without the members name.
